1/6 & 2/6 GH K1家長會去交大訂, 甘多位waiting媽咪應該未來呢1, 2個星期會收到2nd interview通知(本人亦都等緊), 收到信嘅媽咪上嚟報喜啦(希望我都有份啦)~!!!

舊年因為多種原因(開多咗一班, 同waiting list太少), 所以後來send信的人才有interview, 相信今年不會有2nd in.

今日又再打電話 去問多次啦, 佢話目前為止係仲有位比waiting嘅學生, 但現階段係等緊校長挑選緊部份學生再2nd interview.....仲問得好清楚係一定要2nd interview......佢叫我等電話 (會電話通知被選中interview嘅學生)

幫你地問左朋友, 話其實都唔係好清楚問小朋友咩野. 因為 2ND in 係同一個房, 一個老師同小朋友坐係枱仔到玩 (朋友見到有玩具, 有故事書, 不過完全聽唔到的), 另一個老師同家長傾計, 一人一個角落咁, 都有十至十五分鐘~

係，而且面見個小朋友同家長都睇得比較透徹和仔細，再者，因為小朋友大個啲，睇得更真。雖然話係備取生，但收返來的學生質素隨時好過正取唔出奇。

FloliMom: 絕對支持你甘講, 其實第一輪面試真係好講彩數, 又唔知佢用咩做標準, 又唔洗問小朋友問題, 但第二輪嗰d要面對老師答問題, 真係分分鐘勁過第一輪嘅小朋友~!!!

if after second in, 之後立刻話你知收, then I need to pay the 註冊費 immediately? Can I have some days to think before paying the 註冊費?
So seems that not all got 2nd in would be admitted by GH? I think GH will further select 'some' from those 2nd in.
If after registered for K1 but then decide not to study in this Sept, I just wonder if it would affect my P1 application to GH primary 3 years later.

我女女在上星期六有second interview, interview完後即知道收, 並於本星期初已完成註冊.
據我interview時觀察, 佢地有張list, 而最初只是用電腦print左16個小朋友名, 亦即只有16個小朋友有second interview的機會.
本星期初登記時, 我發現那個list上面個個小朋友都有tick mark, 除了排第14個的小朋友應該無黎interview, 於是亦多左個手寫名係第17個位, 而呢個第17位幸運小朋友亦有tick mark, 所以應該係有得second interview的小朋友都會收, 而且過程都係似雙方了解交流多過面試.
現在我估waiting list收生應該完結了, 除非再有人退學.

thanks for your updates. But seems that GH got another batch in addition to last Saturday for 2nd interview as I rec'd GH call this week.
So you meant GH told you the acceptance on last Sat and they allowed you to register and pay the fee a few days afterwards? May I know how much the registration fee needed to pay? Thanks.

這是個很複雜的問題. 其實有關校方如何選擇, 我相信總有它的理由, 不必太過深究.
我是一個有參與整個過程的家長, 我知道其實好多未能取錄的小朋友根本不比獲取錄的小朋友差, 什至乎叻過被取錄的小朋友亦很正常. 只可以說, 盡了力便放鬆心情吧.
另外, 很高興大家都能成為GH家長的一份子.

當天要交$660, 跟住星期三或之前完成註冊及其他手續.

Congrats, GH is a good school.
We also rec'd GH call for 2nd interview on 18/6 but after consideration, we cancelled it. Just curiosity, how many were interviewed on 18/6?
Hope other waiting moms can receive the call shortly.

Did you send any letter (求位信) or make any phone call to school? Did you have any relationship with school (e.g. past student or with sister studying at school)?

No. We don't have any relationship with the school and we are not Catholic, but we did send letters to the school before.

We are not Catholic and have no relationship with the school. But we did send several letters! Luckily we got a pm offer after the 2nd interview.
