出左11個盾~~分別係2,4,5,考唔考多一次好???
第一次我冇同佢串字....放Portfolio會唔會冇咁好??

出咗？我未收到喎！請問你小朋友幾時考架？

如果係我，我會俾小朋友考多幾次，儘量考到15盾為止。因為以我所知好似好多小朋友都考到15盾架(如果我有錯，請更正)。

到暑假完為止仲有好多場srarter exam, 試多幾次啦！我覺得攞唔到滿分唔代表小朋友英文唔好，主要係做卷經驗唔夠架咋。

我都唔知呀，剩係考試前英文老師操咗佢幾日做past paper. 我阿女都係第一次考，期望不大。

首先裝備好個仔先，或者可以試下去報讀有關課程，到有能力時報mover，千祺唔好浪費金錢同時間，重讀無意思。

NOUN嗰啲100%要最熟,VERB都要識串,其他都會同佢串,they,us,now,all....啲字全部一定要明

frequent/common mistakes for my sharing:
-Capital letters of street name / person's name
eg "t"iger Street/ "s" am
-plural s/es
-double letters eg si"t"ting ,swim"m"ing

My daughter took this exam on 1/5, and received the cert on 9/6, I don't think u can get it earlier.

你有冇同小朋友做卷,了解佢讀寫方面的情況?如果得2個盾，應該不單是不懂串字，可能理解(第4部份)也要下點功夫。不要太緊張成績，學校取錄否，張cert不會是關鍵。

考試只是增加小朋友的學習動機。

考試後約1個月就有cert. 是掛號寄到家中的, 收到cert 才知成績.

If spelling is correct, but use "small" letter instead of "Capital" letter, let say Lucy write as "LUCY" or "lucy", will it be classified wrong answer? Please advise. Thanks

Actually, I don't know, but when my girl did the past paper, I would correct her again and again to make sure she needed to write the names in the required way.
By the way, candidates do not need to spell the names, they just need to pay attention to the CD, and write it down. All the names will be spelt out.

I am not sure whether any partial marks for capital letters mistakes. But I always remind them when we do the practice.
One more trap found recently:
Mr Brown/Miss Green ...They always spell Mr 'b' rown/'g'reen b'coz they always link up the colour not the name...It's a confusing thing at their age. Hope this helps.

I heard of there is no mark deducted for using small letter for Starters. For listening, they are testing whether kids can write down the correct letter they heard. I think it is better to do more mock papers before exam. I buy a book with 5 sets of mock exam, audio CDs and answer included, which is quite a good book for practice. If interest, please pm me for details.

14shields is good. You already know how well his English, no need to retake. You may move on to the mover exam.
