如題, 兩間都收佐, 心大心細, 想請教各位兩間有何分別?

我估大多數人都會揀St Paul's Day Nursery, 因為有間好既小學back up, 四年後唔駛煩.但有心理準備St Paul's教既係好淺同好傳統, 英文要出面學.

除非你一心上國際學校或者維多利亞小學, 就當然揀Victoria HH.

Victoria HH is very competitive and difficult to get in - good language exposure and happy learning environment - bilingual in pre-nursery and trilingual starting from K1; choosing vic HH does not necessarily mean you should aim for international stream; in fact, they have good record in entering good local stream schools like Co-ed and DGS too.

St Paul has the advantage of a sister primary school as backup, but you would have to sacrafice your child's language exposure -they mainly teach in chinese and the cirriculum is definitely much less competitive compared to other local kindergarten. The environement is also much more "local" compared to Victoria.

Well, we have the language environment at home. It's just that we hope my son (actually) will learn the good values of being a great loving caring kid. And I know this is what SPN is very very good at. Is language capability really THE key?

of course SPN, at least not need to worry too much about primary if she is not doing too bad.

oh is son? sorry that i did not read the message carefully....but SPN is really a offer that is very difficult to give up, and those boy from SPN could also have good primary allocation as well!

原來你小朋友係仔仔,咁我都會"簡"VICTORIA,因為上小學無BACK UP,到上小學時,大多數男仔都去考DBS,ST.JOSEPH,華仁..etc,到時就係language一較高下既時候,咁victoria出名language好,有外藉老師,又行IB課程...touch wood講句,去唔到呢d小學,直升都有victoria小學.
不過...........SPN的確係一間好既幼稚園,著重內涵,自理多過language,如果係囡囡,唔洗問一定去SPN,而你果個係仔仔,就要睇下你既價值觀係咩喇~~

聽說聖保祿出嘅仔仔都好叻, 可以考到好好學校.
不過就要問前輩家長先知道真相.

如果係我, 我會揀聖保祿. 我相信佢教小朋友嘅品德方面好好, 而Vctoria我就唔知道.
至於英文, Vitctoria當然好, 但聖保祿亦唔係差. 而且英文可以出去補. 又, 你家有晒語境, 學校可能只係輔助.

又假如, 你想生多個, 而細嗰個係女, 揀聖保祿仲可以有機會增加入學可能.
所以, 我如果係你嘅情況, 我會揀聖保祿.

以我所知聖保祿出嘅仔仔都可考到心儀既小學,ST.JOSEPH,華仁,高主教,蔡繼有等大有人在. 如果家長有要求,又想考到好學校,就算讀Vitctoria都要出去補下啦. 除非你既target係international school.

If I were you, I would go for SPN. You can still apply Vic & other KG for K1.

我總覺得，無論是仔仔or囡囡，能有幸給SPN 挑選出來，再經過四年的培育，已經足夠讓人另眼相看了！

我記得有一個spn家長講過, 你想小朋友中文, 英文or數學叻d, 有精讀班, 但講到品德係無精讀班的, 所以好贊同....品德至上!

anyone know whether SPN has a good english speaking enviornment? i totally agreed that being picked by SPN will be a big fortune, but i am still considering whether to plan my bb to go for local or international stream.... anyone have comment?
