Hi,

I would like to know after taking ISF Foundation course (K3), what will be the percentage of student to take ISF primary (P1) or just use ISF Foundation as a step stone to other international or local school. Thx.

Almost 100% of the FY kids will join grade 1. That's why it's now almost impossible to get admitted at grade 1 level.

Thanks for the reply but I see some K3 students also go to ISF. So, does it mean that no of seats in P1 is much more than no of seats in foundation.

Also ISF is Yr2000 school, what is the graduation status for both P6 and F5, is there any idea?

Foundation is  15/class,  G1 is  18/class

I found that some Victoria and Rightmind K3 student will also go to ISF P1, if G1 is 18 and Foundation 15 and all foundation will go to G1, then there should not be much G1 seats for other kindergartens, right?

Yes, there are victoira (average 3-4 graduates got into ISF every year) and quite a number of rightmind kids (11 graduates got into ISF in year 2009-2010) going to ISF Grade 1 after K3 . Since the competition of Grade 1 is keen, so most of the parents who wanted their child to study in ISF will join the Foundation Year to ensure that they could have a seat for Grade 1, though the vice-principle said not all Foundation Year students could automatically get into Grade 1 due to some of them couldn't catch up with the progress , but in normal circumstances, most of the Foudation Year students could get into Grade 1 seccessfully.

15 class?! Seem ISF is very aggressively expanding their classes, as i went to their open day  last time, they said they have originally 10 classes, i am thinking of letting my girl study there or not that time.  But i am worrying about the recruitment of new teachers in such a short period of time and the experience of them too.  Any comment?

Another question is ISF school fee is quite expensive among local or international schools. I wonder it would be one of the five most expensive schools in HK. However ISF is established in Yr2000, the status of the graduates is unknown or  not very clear. Then why quite a number of parents would like using so much money to try.
