My experience is to make your kid willing to talk to stranger.

This is very importance since lot of kid get lot of certificate/award but still failed. If they not willing to talk to interviewer, the school can't tell whether the kid is good or only their parent is good to get the certificate/award for their kid.

In short, class to bring up kid communication skill/self confidence is good. For example drama class, group music/sport for them to willing and know how to get along with other kid. This is because lot of first interview is group interview with other kid.
