My kids is going to P 1 this Sept..
Anyone who join Learning Plus Grammar + Writing course before? Is it good??

As the grammar course cost $ 350 per class (12 kids / class), it's quite expensive!!!!

some people say Miniminds is also good, my friends children are learning writing course there, max. 5-6 students in a class, but they charge more expensive than learning plus, 500-650 each lesson.

the center i was talking about which charge 500-600 per lesson is Miniminds not learning plus!

我小朋友在learning plus讀過兩至三年，佢地既material係幾好，但都要睇下佩唔佩合你小朋友本身既學校，不過就真係幾貴。我小朋友果時writing 同grammar 都有讀，但最後我小朋友說教writing既老師唔好，佢只係讀答案，書又照讀，最後退出左.......

因為有家長向我推介LP, 話學左幾年架啦, 教得好好, 於是我亞女前年讀左個summer course, 忘記多少錢, 但都唔係平架啦, 一班勁多人(好似~20人). 對我來說係絕對浪費金錢+時間, 無再幫襯.

朋友仔在LP讀緊的，不是暑期班。佢話唔覺唔覺，宜家計返，返一次LP 2.5鐘要成六舊水，(佢報GRAMMAR 和 WRITING 兩科)，話如果有咩冬瓜豆腐返唔倒就真係ZIP水咯，佢地又冇得補堂。

唔係啵~ 我岩岩先報左班, 雖然係writing, 但我手上本summer booklet都寫左, 230/堂/小時, 唔係你地個價啵~ 同埋係15人/班.

如果係baby grammar, 都只係240/堂/小時, 8個人一班咋~

My son tried both British Council and LP. They are totally different school even though both have big class. For BC, the teacher is foreginer which mainly emphase on coversational or living English. For LP, it is intensive grammer/writting course taught by local teacher. For my son, he did not have any improvement when studying in BC. He has been studying in LP for 1.5 year and got great improvement in in English result. Therefore, you can choose the school depends on the area you want your kids to improve. For my son, as he is P.5 and needs to sumbit result for getting a place of secondary school, I chose LP which is more result-orientated.

Agreed! My daughter also tried both centre and found LP is much better.

coz my son is going to study at LP on coming summer, hope that he will be fine and learn well there.

I am thinking about Sept course now, many fds told me that most schools will reserve seat for Summer courses' students, I wonder if I need to reserve first~~
