I got the textbook order form today.
Do you think it is better to order phonics Fun E-book 1 and 2 while they are optional? Are they useful?

I guess we must order all the other textbook and workbooks!?

How do u get the textbook order form? from current student? and got it for preparation? As I still don't have any document from SMC since last year registration.

個人意見 : phonics Fun 隻cd 可以唔買....

但有時考試會考cd 的內容....

to 一家三口,
What kind of phonics was taught in SMC? they got phonics lesson too? cos my girl already finished most of her level in HOP. So does she need to buy and follow their syllabus, as I knew they have their self-prepared material for English during lessons.
So, Do we have to buy all of other subjects? cos some of them remarked as 'with classroom learning' and some were not.

they didn't show the price of the book lists. However, I guess we would still buy them from the smc.

Hi New Parents,

1. phonic is complusory, but I think if your child already studied phonics and there are similar materials at home, I thnik it's no need to buy the optional e-book. but for the text book, it's a must
2. Phonics book is the only text book in English. SMC use school based materials and they are very very interesting to study.
3. stronly encourage you to order via school because it will save you a lot of time to check the bookstore availability of books and go to collect the books.

The HK$500 registration fee you paid before would be treated as part of the school fee for Sept 2011.
