Hello everyone,

My son is accepted by both ISF foundation year and CIS reception year for 2011/12. Do you have any suggestions for me on how to choose? ISF will have the first year 12 graduates in 2011/12. Does anyone know their academic results and chinese level? Thank you.

Congratulations ! Your son is very smart !
Both schools are my dream schools. My kid applied for both this year; eventually got offer from ISF and rejected by CIS.
If I were you, I think I will choose CIS because of the track record on university placement. I also had a friend's daughter graduated from CIS. She is very smart and respectful.
In terms of Chinese level, my friend told me that ISF should have a higher level of Chinese than CIS. It's understandable because ISF is really a local independent school. But CIS's Chinese level should be good too.

thank you kfy. I don't think my son is particularly smart and there may be some luck for being accepted by CIS. Have you heard of any bad comments on CIS? Are you going to accept the offer by ISF?

Yes, I have accepted the ISF offer.
I have not heard any bad comments about CIS. Personally our team had a summer intern who was graduated from CIS. She was very smart and responsible. She said that CIS was a very good school.
