We just being informed that our child is not able to proceed from Pre-school to K!. However, we did not help her to apply any other kindergarten. What can we do now?

OMG what school is it? They inform u so late? In Jan, I was informed by the school that it will be closed in 2011-12. I also missed the chance to apply for many famous school.

Then I called each school to see if they still accept application. I think it's the only way and you can't expect from those popular school, just try those nearby with good reputation. Good luck.

It's Cannan, they only inform us late Feb. I tried to contact many kindergartens already but no positive feedback. In fact, they don;t even inform us to get prepare and explain that they may not accept all students from pre-school. Today, I talked to her class teacher, she just said don't know and ask me to talk to principal and tried to hang up the phone ASAP. This is really irresponsible.

Is the Kowloon tong that one? You may try York KG, I think they will have many seats to release soon after Mar , my children study there and we need to pay the 1st month tuition fee and the books fees, thus, i believe will have greater chance.

I believe York also got long waiting list and would not accept new application la.

How about Funful? Is that easier?

really? they always reserve the seats for their pn students and take the outside kids later.... as i know, they should have given notice to the PN parents for confirmation of attending their K1 in november... if parents reserved the seat and paid the registration fee on time, they kids shall be able to promote to their K1....
indeed, cannan didn't start the recruitment as early as other kinders did this year as the were waiting for the confirmation from the PN parents...
what happened ah?

No, my child is studying Cannan, they just informed us late Feb that not all the kinds are accepted. That's why we are in trouble now.

I have talked to the principal. In fact, they accepted 280 students for pre-school and only accepted 300 students for K1 to K3 (in total). They will give priority to students who had brothers and sisters first, then the bigger BB and the small BB like my daughter will have slim chance.

但每年都有大量人唔升上K1，wait都冇得wait就趕你走，真奇怪！

我都覺得好奇怪…
我問過朋友，今生都有派留位紙給小朋友，但就比往年遲派，仲要短時間內交留位費…如果有收到通知又比左錢左位，冇理由冇位…
再者，佢地今年係觀察埋NP留位情況再in外來生…
其家依加仲有人唔會讀但就keep係手，第2次註冊時一定有位放出黎…
不如樓主再了解一下…
