Hi all

My daughter got PM offer from both SPK (St Paul Kindergarten) and SH (Sacred Heart).

Any comment?

For SPK, I heard that around 90% could go to its primary school.

For SH, what's the % could go to primary school (AM)?

First, congratulations for receiving both offers!

If simply use percentage, then I think SPK should have higher percentage of their students studying in SPCS. For Sacred Heart, an increasing and significant number of students will go to their gov't aided primary section (pm). Of course, the private section is still the primary school with the majority of SHCK students. Also, some of them will go to Marymount, St. Mary's and St. Francis's thru gov't allocation scheme.

i think both schools are good.....just decide the location,how far u need to travel....
upon they finished P6.....still many parents want to change school for their gal...from spk to sh/mss,sh to spc/mss....provided that your gal can get good acadamic results,they can swicth to any school.....!!!

spk是否真係好貴族學校呢？
SH是否平民D啦？
上小學哪一間容易直上呢？
我哋想入私校個邊啊

不熟香港區幼稚園, 小學及中學band及情況, 多多包涵我的問題,因為我不想揀錯, 日後所面對家人等等問題

如果你心儀 DGJS / SPCC，我會提議 SPK / SSGK / SKH（你有無報？）。每年都有些囡去 DGJS / SPCC。當然幼稚園只係其中一樣，這幾的家庭教育反而是最重要的，課外活動例如游泳音樂當然不可少。

我囡囡同你囡囡一樣,
幸運地有SPK同SH offer!
心理面一直視SPK為dream sch,
但絕對認同SH都係好好嘅學校,
是但有1個offer都非常滿足!

我決定揀SPK除左因為個人喜好就係學校地點,
我住東九龍, 去cb一定比central快, 校車費都平d!
而且SPK中小幼同一位置, 近mtr,
囡囡將來自己返學都比較方便!

好想問下, 既然你大仔已經讀緊spk, 收左細妹應該都唔駛再諗sh? 點解你會有呢個問題呢? 是否有另外concern? 可否分享一下? thanks

I heard that both SPK & SH teach phonics.

Any SH parent here? How much time a week for N.E.T class in SH? Is it good?

In SH, 3 days a week (each day half an hour). Do you think you will be satisfied about that.

Don't bother if it be taught by NET, do look for an English School for your kids la.
