Hello pipimom

My girl is only at Grade 1. Most of the classmates like reading very much. Almost everyday, my girl borrows 2 English books from school library and 1 Chinese book from class. Their reading habit is very good but not much homework. Depends on what u're looking for?

Hello Pipimom

My daughter joins Chinese Dance and French on Saturday. No direct school bus from TaiKoo to school but they only provide transportation from some MTR station to school such as Kowloon Tong. So we go to school by MTR (to Prince Edward) and change bus or taxi. If takes bus, only 10-15 minutes ride.

can u tell me more abt sch's chi level/ standard? no dictation? do they use local chi primary books? or 自訂教材? chi dairy/weekly? need to補習 or not? pls share agn

Only uses Story Book for both Chi & Eng. lesson. Sometimes they have role play. They've dictation, but not much. They have to write both Chi & Eng Journal but I can't say how frequency. For Eng., they write journal every week at the first few months but since the Expat. teacher left the school and changed to a new teacher and thus new practice. In my opinion, most of the kids in CKY has a very good foundation English. Otherwise, life is not easy since most of the subjects are in Eng.

No, we must pay instrument lesson fee no matter you have private lesson.

The instrument lesson is during school hour.

For the school bus, they changed the school bus co. and so some of the parents try to coordinate a private school bus but you should also leave your contact details to the new school bus company so that they can also arrange the HK Island line.

Is it your girl already confirmed to study in CKY?

can your share with me the nanny bus details as well? i may take this route as well... is the traveling time acceptable? will it get through many other places or school before it reaches cky?
