How much does your PN KG ask for in order to reserve the K1 fee for next year?

My son's KG ask for more than $1800!!!

I heard that some KG even don't ask for deposit? Just ask the parents to inform school will you stay here next year.

呢樣野係唔係教署有規定架？我見半曰嘅通常收$660(TT就收$550）全日就double.

over $1000 真係好貴wor...阿囡讀緊嗰間到依家都未通知要交留位費, 不過我地巳有其他offer, 所以都唔會交....
唔知阿囡到時會唔會唔捨得d同學仔呢 (好似諗得太長遠....)

我交左幾間k1都係$650/$660,,有間留位費係$500,但我冇交呢間...
n1升上去都交過千,真係幾貴喎....

We paid $660.

Information from Education Bureau website:

registration fee    Approved Ceilings
i) Half-day session  $660 or half of the monthly tuition fee, whichever is lower
ii) Whole-day session $1150 or half of  the monthly tuition fee, whichever is lower

It mentioned:
Collections of the above fees exceeding the approved ceilings specified still require the prior approval of PSEM (Permanent Secretary for Education and Manpower)

I know the Kinder is not doing the right thing. Just want to see if BK mums has encountered any other KG doing the same - collecting more than $660, in whatever excuses, names, purposes.
