We shall give up the pm offer for my daughter cos she has got an offer from a girl one-dragon kindergarten for which my husband and I opine that it is better to let our naughty gal study at girl's school.

是St Clare還是GH？我還未想好呢！

We gave up GH am offer for St. Clare's finally in view of the long run financial burden of GH.

Admittedly, GH is a good girl's school no matter on its academic, musical as well as physical performance, but my husband and I are not civil servants that we need to pay all the school fee from kindergarten to secondary studies by our own. We think that we can spend the expensive school fee on sending our daughter to study overseas instead.

My husband always said that we have already paid too much taxes, it's time for us to enjoy the ONLY benefit for our children --- pre-primary education voucher scheme. :lover

We won't register for the pm offer either. Reasons:
1. pm offer.
2. prefer a kindergarten with more English teaching.

St Clare小學係私校都要俾錢呢，免費既得SH pm，但SH係中文學校呢。

Yes, you're right.

GH Primary school fee: $37,000
St.Clare's Primary school fee: $30,000

However, for GH secondary studies, you need to pay from $35,000 for junior to $50,000 for senior studies ....

They are simply the monetary figure for current year, some years later, the figure more possibly goes UP and UP..

hehe, really so expensive la!

You gave up TL for which KG? Is it another one-dragon school?
I have the same concern: English, and curriculum also.
I may take a private KG which is not one-dragon. However, it's really risky for the P1 allocation!

We are tossing between St. Clare's and Rosaryhill.

We really like Rosaryhill kindergarten's environment, curriculum and teachers and it is close to where we live. Down side is we will not consider it's P1, so we have to go through the central allocation if we stay on for K1.

St. Clare's is one-dragon to P1 and seems to be a good school after chatting with a parent but we don't know it well.

就係程度太淺,英文太弱,好似唔適合我囡!
佢依家已經識好多字,句字,認知能力同語言能力都算高.同埋依家讀緊既PN程度都高,但佢都HANDLE得好好,又好鐘意返學.驚轉返讀無咁著重ACADEMIC又少英文同普通話既學校,佢會唔適應,無興趣!(我有個朋友既小朋友就係咁)
當然我都覺得TL都好好,由其是德育方面.
但,我應該為囡囡選適合佢既KG,然後P1大抽獎聽天由命,定係選龍校有個保障呢?

同埋 st clare 既kg 都係 $300 per month..剩番既$$ 可以出去學多D課外活動...

我會咁睇...沒有絕對正確既選擇..呢個就係人生..但當我們一選擇..唯有勇往直前..裝備自己..出生率高再加埋個D"小班"政策...小一既競爭真係會大...

我自己中文強過英文,不過普通話就認真痳痳!
除普通話外,我都有信心教好小朋友中文既.但英文呢,我總想有個NET日日同佢講几句!
我係全職媽媽,做家務湊囡已經忙到不得了,同樣無時間帶囡出去學野/補習!如果讀TL,除左樂器跳舞外,仲要學英文ORAL,拼音,普通話...讀私校就免左最後呢3樣.
費用計落差唔多,但時間上,讀TL仲要用多D!

個人愚見, 由細到大住向港島區, 都知道玫瑰崗真係麻麻地, 排除幼稚園, 小學, 中學,都不太好, 特別是中學, 品行真係一般, 但真光係正統的女校, 我自己都讀過, 品行及學業上也不錯, 雖然中文良好, 英文都不錯, 又係一條龍, 同埋運動都好叻, 真係要考慮!! 個囡入去讀, 差極都有個泡.

我自己想揀st clare's，但又驚學校好嚴肅，當然幼稚園唔會，但到咗小學中學會唔會好古板！但老公就話真光好d，有泳池、運動場，學校大d，因為st clare's學校入面無得入校車，小朋友要係出面排好隊等校車來接，得個幾歲人仔，要受風吹雨打，好似好慘，我知落雨會着雨衣先上落車，但係有時好大雨咪連鞋襪都濕哂！又驚會ip住冷親...好似呢幾日咁凍係街行多陣都唔想，小朋友仲要企係出面等車！

My daughter got an AM offer from TL & a PM offer from Pui Ching (PC). We are struggling to make a choice. We like TL more than PC because TL is better to take care of children & parents. We were amazed to see many parent volunteers on open & interviews days. It is a good indicator. However, PC is a real co-educational famous school with long history. We hope my younger son could be admitted to the same school. But my colleagues' comments on PC are fair.

家姐入了TL仔仔應較易入，仔仔入了TL幼稚園可參加小一大抽獎，如果小一派得不好也可再博中學派位。PC也不是100%上到中學

PS. TL幼稚園和小學應是男/女

fefemom, 我地同你一樣，都係鍾意RHS多D而決定放棄TL. 不過，重要等埋蘇浙同聖心嘅result先再作最後決定。其實，論環境同課程，我地都prefer RHD多D，但係最concern要坐校車太遠。所以都好難決定，好頭痛！

今朝9點去到注册，前面有10几人排緊隊，不過真光門口就真係好小巴士經過，交通吾算方便，我地住灣仔區，下午班校車要行幾個街口先有，上午班就樓下有得搭，唉，，，就單單呢個原因，我真係好想轉上午班啊。

校車上落的地點係可以商量架，可以係5月填搭校車表上表達想係邊度上車，等SH同St Paul出result就實有上午的位放出來!

有啊，上一年（30號）已經寄左一封轉班信，星期六個日仲專程一早9點到打算交多一封（因爲听人講有D學校會系先到先得方式安排轉班），點知個注册老師吾收我封信（話已經收到左我之前個封），個日真係冒住寒風赶過去，其實上午班都几慘，冬天一早返學真係好凍架，我個女依家返下午班n1，日日訓到11點先起床。舒服好多，連午睡都無訓一排啦。

先講幼稚園, 我friend個女k1時真光(堅道)同聖嘉勒都收o左AM, 最後都揀o左聖嘉勒, 佢地話因為怕佢阿女中文溝通比較弱聽唔明, 驚老師唔會特別照顧佢阿女所以最後揀o左聖嘉勒....

又講下小學, 我同事個女考小一時真光同聖嘉勒都收o左, 最後都揀o左真光, 佢話揀真光o既原因係同樣都要交學費咁點解唔揀間校舍大設施又齊全呢! 真光出名中文好, 但英文就比較普通, 佢話自己出去學英文好容易, 但要出去學中文諗會比較難搵同少選擇, 到目前為止我都相信佢o既選擇係正確o既, 佢話佢阿女讀得好開心, 成績仲.....

請問以上係同一個女仔定兩個，我就係諗緊St clare's & TL，讀邊間！因為想由幼稚園直上，如果亞囡讀St clare's or TL的幼稚園，我三年後應該唔會再去考對方的小一再諗過？
