請問:
1.要形容一隻老虎有黃色和黑色,除了用It is yellow and black 外,可否用It has,因小朋友常混亂變成It has yellow and black

2.What colour is it?
It is blue.

那麼問對鞋(鞋是雙數),除了What colour are her/his/your/shoes?,請問要短問該是點寫?是否What colour are they?

請賜教

Below is the answer of my niece (an ABC) who is studying 'edu' for yr ref:

Q1
You can say (must be a complete sentence)
"it has yellow and black fur." or
"It has fur." or
"It is yellow and black."
Q2
you can use "what colour are they?"... that works fine as long as both parties know what "they" is refering to.

Hope it can help. My personal exp, ask yr child to think 'in Eng' directly, but not translating fm 'Cantonese'. U may quide him/her by asking Q in Eng. But it takes time!
