請問 KV / SC / GH 放棄邊個 ???

真係好難揀，我係過來人，意見如下：

如想博到盡想考超班名校如 DGJS, DBS, SPCC 等等，就KV/SC。

如穩穩陣陣，就GH。

我當時就諗SPCC我唔會考，DGJS會試，但要預咗好難，機會好微。咁GH小學都唔差，只是名氣比那3間超班名校稍遜，所以揀咗轉去GH kindergarten，上GH小學有保障，到時再去試考DGJS。

係有所得，亦有所失㗎啦！

KV/SC
- 語文好, 老牌名校.　小朋友多數教到好presentable.英文好.
- 無小學backup.
- 語文好, 上小學無咁辛苦.
- 空閒時間可以學其他野增值
- 男女校

GH
- 有小學backup
- 不過唔係100%guarantee. 有risk, 睇下你點睇, 怕唔怕到時touchwood唔收（由其細女），　程度又比較淺d, 考其他學校會難d.
- 程度無 kv/sc咁深, 可能要出去補英文打底, 如果唔係上學會辛苦d.
- 比較上少空閒時間學其他野, 因為要補英文/語文
- 天主教女校，　德育培訓得好好．

同埋我會睇埋有無兄弟姊妹啦，　自己住邊區，有無宗教啦，　　如果住34（唔知有無記錯），　我本人覺得博得過派位，　Maryk唔得都有兩間聖家呀　．．．

For security, should consider GH.

if this is the case, i would go with KV...good foundation on chinese and math, and having a good habit on doing homework!! i see english is easier than chinese...plus studying habit is always important....

which Primary you prefer? I have no idea Maryknoll is better than GH or vice versa.

My first impression is go into GH as you can still hv choice of both Primary after Kindergarten study.

Maybe I prefer GH a little more at present as there is more chance to get into its primary. It's for safety purpose in case 25 marks cannot get into Maryknoll. For the 'big lucky draw', it depends on the date of release of GH primary. In case the result of 自行分配學位' is before GH registration, i still can choose to get into Maryknoll. Don't know if this estimation is correct?

如果家長要求高, kv 都要補英文oral. sc也要補中文.

25 marks for MCS seat is really secured. But, you are required to check whether you really got 25 marks. For your case, I will choose SC.

我覺得唔只考慮係咪多過choice,重要諗埋小朋友入到去跟唔跟得上，你25分Maryknoll係好safe,但如小朋友foundation唔好入到去讀唔掂又係死，如果有Maryknoll,又係城中最top學校又免學費，又有中學，你都prefer讀佢啦，我覺得你而家要做係幫小朋友打好個底，確保佢在名校跟得上，所以SC會適合d. 好羨慕你tim呀，有條這麼好的路。

AGREE...如果 MCS 同 GH 比, 我鐘意 MCS 多 D, 仲要唔洗錢 + 九龍區數一數二女名校 (DGJS & MSC 我覺得係最TOP 的). 你有 25 分 + SC 又收, 真係羨慕 C 好多媽咪. 我直情流晒口水, 比我一定會一心鋪路入 MCS, 所以好似 EggEgg08 所講, 如果你都鐘意 MCS 的話, 真係應該係 KG 時打好囡囡個底, 因為 MCS 都幾 demanding 的, 教高一級的~

agree! 25分好保險喇, mcs係英小, 打好英文底子最緊要, 我認識的old girls佢地送d女去kingston或is.

Hi qqbabe, 請問你係咪prefer英小多於中小？但SH、SPC、TL呢d都係中小，去到中學先係英文，你點睇呢？

I am wondering any parent put their kids to 2 schools here?? One AM and one PM. Of course, both school are not too far from each other.

hi Cutemom0808, spc係英小, sh+tl係中小, 其實龍校又唔駛太擔心, 佢地龍小一定有方法函接龍中, 唔係中學部校長實投訴

. 我個人而言冇話必要揀英小, 只係beatrice個case 25分差不多勝算在握, 咁當然趁早打好底子, 所以sc>gh. 選校因素太多:課程/師資/語境, 而且我相信一分錢一分貨, 揀私校直資要交學費, 當然要求英普強設施優良; 享免費教育讀津校就講分數+策略, 好似我呢d20分, 除非有心儀私校back up, 唔係都唔敢博mcs, marymount等英小, 轉攻sfc, sh(pm), st paul catholic, 雖然係中小, 都係好學校.

Thanks for everyone's suggestion. I'm just wondering if SC's academic level/acheivement is really of higher level. I dont't know actually. My elder son is studying at SC. I have no comparison but just feel that many many parents have been doing a lot to boost their kid's academy like learning English and Mandarin and Maths outside. How much is the school really contribute? I am not saying that SC is not good. At least it gives a very good environment to the children in using English but I should say the acheivement comes from the parents. This is just my personal opinion! ????

In addition, the chance of SC student to enter DGJS is higher. 25分好保險喇.

SC /KV對小孩過度傳統小學(相對GH)是十分有幫助的.
