Heard before that most of the applicants will best be on the waiting list
1. Would those sucessfully got the acceptance offer share with us here?
2. For those accepted, are they studying N1 in Keenmind or not? I guess both groups will receive the offer at the same time?
Also interested to know how many seats are there for K1.

My little one is also on waiting list. This is the 4th kindergarten which put her on waiting list. Up to now, got no offer on hand, what should I do?
Meanwhile, awaiting the result from GH. I will apply HY K1 on Monday and St Paul Nursery in March 2011 (be big b in it's pre-nursery) for her. Also, I will have SH K1 interview in Jan 2011. However, all of them are very popular, super small b (0812) only have very slim chance to get in.

Just wonder why it has to request the parents to fill in the reply slip. Since no deposit is required, I guess many parents would give an affirmative reply, right?

我幾buy佢地呢套禾，唔洗side野，得就得，唔得退返哂d野；waiting又有reply問我地等唔等，大家都好做。唔洗side左d位同大家d時間。

不過我都係waiting，唔會等，放返d位出黎。

don't worry, in case no luck, you can try for PN this year then K1 again next year, double the chances!

Waiting list 張回條無話寄wor....我昨天親身交回條,個職員話我知佢地1月先交留位，5月先正式註冊，我諗我地起碼最快要等到5月先知結果.....我b係超細b,in 6間 2 waiting 4 rejected.如果你地已有offer係手既家長，就吾好hold住d位，放d比我地到而家重未有offer既家長la.....many thanks!

其實都唔知KM係唔係只係留返俾佢地啲PN學生, 大部份家長都係WAITING, 今年係我第一年開始加入你地家長揾校團, 我發覺每一間都好似有一個特定的制度去選生, 就算你小朋友幾叻都好都無用, 又要夾出生日期, 又要夾運氣, 樣樣都要去夾先收你小朋友, 我覺得家長慘之餘小朋友仲慘, 左去右去, 佢地都好辛苦, 但無計, 為的都係佢地的將來~各家長加油啦, 隨心啦, 我睇到一個ROOM啲家長講, 名校未必入到好小學, 反之村校就可以, 變相家長會諗返當初四圍走去揾名學校為咩呢?

我都係咁話！其實我已經冇再諗點解唔收，而家既心態係：Interview 就當 Playgroup 試堂，等 result 就當對頭獎3千萬個期六合彩咁囉..... 所以知道有信寄出但日日都未有自己份既時候就好似睇住搞珠... 頭獎冇行、二獎冇行、三獎.... 結果又係得個吉，不過今次係捐咗$30，同埋唔係比馬會囉.... >_<

回答你第一個post的問題，我家細佬沒在km 上n班，甚至他並沒有上n班，當然哥哥正就讀可能為他帶來一些好處，不過他面試時的表現也算不錯的。
從數字上估計，扣除直上的n1小朋友，上下午班應該共約有30個餘額可收外來生。另我們交留位費的日期為1月8日。

因為我到依家都覺得pn唔係必需，因我唔駛返工(打自己工)，相對可以教/湊的時間比較多，3歲前我主力係train佢地的自理能力(我自己認為，自理能力佳的小朋友，學習態度都唔會差得去邊)，素知km的pn都唔野少(我指學術上)，細佬又係0808b，我唔太想佢一足2歲就放多左時間o係學術上(不過其實佢跟住阿哥，好多野都學識左就真o既)，而且學費連校車都成4k+，當年哥哥遲說話，社交不太好，我就有安排他佢返屋企附近的pn班(冇academic野的)，但細佬語言同社交都比哥哥當年好，所以我直頭冇比佢返n班。

Actually I believe unless the younger one does not have good performance in the interview or he.or she is a super small Baby, otherwise the chance of sibling getting in should be big. But that also depends on the performance of the elder one and the parents in the school.

嗯，呢個亦都係我今次肯take 少少risk的原因，哥哥在校表現其實唔錯的，不過細佬係0808，雖未算最細，但點都稱唔上大b，不過好在細佬面試表現都好好，btw，我聽過同學仔媽咪講，都有d case係大o既叻(考頭幾名)，細o既都冇收，但詳情係點，就唔清楚了。

計考試分only，只不過試卷入面其中一題係唱歌(中英各一)，o個條有幾個分數的，做足哂就滿分，唱左，冇做動作就少2分，每班好似有4個，應該係全部100分o個d掛

我見識過上次份評估報告.. 我無買隻cd無同佢"溫習" (係乜都無理佢嗰隻) 其實佢有over80%做到已經好叻~ 我心滿意足

Actually the child's performance is well known to all teachers in the school, especially the school principal. Usually she will know every student's name in school. So whether the child is good or average or bad, the principal can tell even without really look at the final school report. She observe many lessons and activities - going to school and pick up after school. The teachers will also exchange views on the students.
The KGs usually will have many prices - so called "pork meet prizes" eg. Gold, Silver, Metal, etc, to encourage the students. so that at least there will be 3-5 students getting awards. this will also enhance their chance in getting P1 allocation.
People said those top students from kenville with these prizes can really get into good DSS or private schools.
Throughout the academic year, the school will also note to what extend the parents has devoated time and resources in grooming their child, those families of which many of the Kinders like to pick.

又唔係, 返咁耐pn我個女都好開心, 有壓力既係家長姐. 睇返轉頭, 都好感激過去舊年起km既"特訓", 而家真係hea到不得了

都唔full time得哂，忙起上黎都8-9點pm先收工，上年冇報pn我自己都有少少擔心架其實，不過爸爸好決斷咁話冇需要，咁我冇再fight啦，你囡囡依家讀龍校就安心好多啦，我出年仲要同哥哥闖關阿
