請問以下學校程度是否差不多？男仔是否讀男校會好些呢？謝謝。
Loughborough Grammar School
Monmouth School
Sherborne School
Oakham School
New Hall School

應該是Loughborough Grammar School和Oakham School較佳吧,前者如果是考sixth form,入學試要考很多科呢,後者則師生比例很低,check PM

基本上這幾所寄宿中學排名差不多：Loughborough Grammar School Ranking 114
Monmouth School
Ranking 160
Sherborne School
Ranking 181
Oakham School
Ranking 159
New Hall School
Ranking 193

據我經驗所知，200名內的學校收生要求亦嚴謹的。New Hall School是一所女
校。

而揀選男校或男女校，要視乎你小朋友的適應能力，不是所有男校都有高的排名。

多謝大家的資料。其實我是計劃仔仔過去讀Grade 8，因為他的中文不太好，温習中文幾乎用去他的所有時間才能達到全級平均水平，我很担心繼續下去讀到 F6時他的文憑考試中文科也未必能及格，所以計劃早點送他走。不過我apply了25間學校也只是得6間有回音，選擇真的不多。

Don't send him to all boys school ar, the culture of all boy school is not so good.
Best is to find a school that does not have any Chinese there, so he will get used to the school quickly.

你仔仔今年year 几?考entrance exam 又考year 几的paper? 可否share 一吓?

我仔仔現在是grade 7，原本去年是替他apply 今年九月的 grade 8，但學校回覆 grade 8 要 waiting，前面還有兩個學生wait緊，不過可以offer 2012 grade 9給我們，不需再考試。

Hi 22monster66,

My friend plans to send his son to this school for Year 10 in 2012 as well. I know he has already done the entrance exam last week and now waiting for the result. Although her son is studying in a Band 1 school here in HK, he still thinks that some questions in the papers are quite difficult.But I know he is going to have interview with some other schools very soon.
As I know, my friend apply through an agent, as they can supervise the exam for her son and also arrange the interview for them.
