Hi;

So glad that my kid belongs to this big family. May I have some questions?

1. As I know they require students to learn 1 instrument, is piano also be counted???

2. What kind of ECA do they have? How's the charges of their ECA.. e.g Choir, tennis, swimmng...is there any way I could check the details? As I can't find it at the website.

YoungKY,
1. Piano isn't an orchestra instrument, so it is not count. Students must learn an orchestra instrument in school, or outside school from other tutor.

2. ECA, you can find in the school website, under the Notice & Circulars. Extra - Curricular Activities Notice / 課外活動通告. Different grade are different activities. There are some most ECA on November (for week12-19), which are free of charge.

Thx a lot! Too bad that they didn't count Piano as one of the instrument.

Will it be common that most of the kids learn 2 x instrument in SSCPS?

"Choir" as shown on the ECA list is selected by teachers or it's open to everyone??

Yes, most kids learn > 1 instrument. But my daughter only learns flute, now she wants to start piano too.
Choir members are selected by music teachers.
