女兒 P1, 明年初可以考mover. 而明年尾,讀埋個 flyer course 可考 flyer. 甘考唔考mover or 直接年尾考 flyer 好呢 ??? thanks

Thanks. 其實信心都有,唔得咪遲幾個月,反正唔係急. 我目標係小四前考到KET, 因為諗往張 Flyer & Ket 証書應對考中學有幫助. 依家心大心細想比佢年初比唔比佢考 mover,好係可以接受一下考試模式及測試實力. 但年尾諗往考 Flyer, 又唔需要 mover 張 cert, 要唔要再比6百幾去考一考好....

my girl took flyer right away at p1. last year she took Ket and just finish Pet.

My son just finished the Starter exam, and I want him to go for the mover exam. However, I find the movers level is a big jump for the kids as they need to know about the past tense. Any one kindly let me have some tips for the mover exam? Thank you very much.

其實跳級都無問題，最繄要準備充足，同埋了解下小朋友有冇能力跳級，我個女三月考完KET，下個月考FCE，希望個女可以拿到滿意成績。

尋日我囝讀o個間centre同個老闆傾開, 先知原來有d中學未必會接受4年級前考的ket result, 但當然只係有小部份, for reference到時check check 吧

Cambridge試級別對每位小朋友有所不同,K2 K3小朋友已報考Movers,都是剛剛5歲至未夠6歲,出來成績是滿盾,依家小朋友絕對可跳級考更高級別。

當然有人可以做到，但只是少數人，不是一般小朋友可以做到。

我都識人15歲入大學，8歲考到Grade 8 violin。。。。。。

其實英文都係練習多就有進步，所以，都吾係一定要資優呀！我都識一個小朋友（早幾個月前）K3 Movers 已取到15盾。現在，已開始練習Flyers, 暑假考Flyers. 只要多練習真係可以呀！

係囉，你識那個小朋友都係K3考Mover姐，唔係k2/k3考Flyer吖嘛，講嚟講去都話唔係冇人做到，係少數人做到咯，我只係唔想有家長以為普遍係k2/k3考Flyer，呢個唔係norm。。。。。。

做到的就算唔係資優，都係特別聰明啦。。。。。。

我覺得真係越來越誇張，咁細個已經要去考Mover or Flyer。滿盾又怎樣？小朋友真的愛英文嗎？除被迫溫習外，自己會看英文書嗎？英文不是這樣學的。

I totally agree with you.  細細個就操卷，操卷，操卷。到一二年班就怕左英文，這些情況我也見過不少。The right way to learn English is through reading& playing.
My daughter first picked up a pencil to write when she was in K3.  All our friends were worried about her that she didn't know how to write at nearly 5 years old.  However, she started reading since 2 years old and have finished 8 books of Roald Dahl before she finished Pri 1.
She took the Flyer (without Starter & Mover) in Pri. 2 without taking any course and did only one sample paper downloaded from internet.  She got 15 shields.  Then she took PET in Pri 3 & got Merit.
So, I am strongly on the side of reading rather than doing papers.

I agree that reading is the best way of learning English effectively. Once the kids get interested in reading, they will enjoy the learning process, and can learn many many vocabs and the grammar rules naturally. It is much better than forcing them to take the training courses, spelling, and memorizing the words.

But of course, before taking the exam, practising a couple of past papers can help them familiarise with the test format. But once the kids get tired or fed up with the exercise, better stop it or they will lose the interest in learning. (This is just my personal opinion......)

I am interested in your reading progress of your daughters. Can you kindly advise the books series your daughters read before proceeding to read the Roald Dahl series? Thanks.

唔好意思，唔記得左上返來講，阿女fce成績出左，分數雖然唔係好高，但PASS左，阿女讀繄五年班，考中三、四程度既FCE可以PASS，對於我來講好滿意。
