From next year onwards, there will be no Sheng Kung Hui Butler and no Sheng Kung Hui Central. There will just be one Sheng Kung Hui in Causeway Bay - there will still be 180 seats for K1.
The temporary school will last for three years. mount butler will be renovated and became permanent school campus afterwards.

Lingliang's temporary campus. Lingliang will move back to Leighton Lane next year when its campus renovation is finished.
Enrollment should start mid-Dec.

thx GAT... how did you get the news? I know both school would have open days for these 2 weeks. central one was yesterday and the mt. butler one will be on next Saturday. will you join?

From reliable sources la!
Whether two school's admin and curriculum would really combine is uncertain.
But it is certain that all students will study there for 3 years.

臨時校社都應該好好, 除咗校社,其實仲有其他野聖公會都好好架!

今日學校已經出咗通告話下年會搬去銅鑼灣東院道7號既位置，而家係靈糧堂幼稚園用緊，下年會搬走。我相信學校出收生表時會講明。

Yes, school has released notice already. But no matter where it is, the software of the school, eg. teachers are the same, SKH is still a very good school.

2011/2012年度新生入學
特別注意事項：
1. 校舍搬遷事宜
為配合香港聖公會主教山重建計劃，畢拉山校舍地段將有神學院及幼稚園等發展建
築項目，為免影響畢拉山校學童的健康及安全，本校將遷往臨時校舍繼續運作。
有關安排如下：
- 預計2011年9月遷往臨時校舍
- 臨時校舍地址：香港銅鑼灣東院道7號中華基督教會聖光堂
- 預計2014年9月遷回畢拉山新校舍
2. 學券事宜
有關政府推行為期五年的學券計劃將於2012年度完結，本校未確定仍否繼續參加新
一期的學券計劃。

入學年齡: 幼兒班 2007年10月至2008年12月出生者
  低　班 2006年10月至2007年12月出生者
  高　班 2005年10月至2006年12月出生者
領取申請表:
(1) 本校網頁下載:
   由2010年12月17日(星期五)至2011年1月7日(星期五)期間，在
   本校網址www.skhkg.edu.hk下載。
(2) 親臨索取:
   可於指定「報名日」，即2011年1月8日 (星期六) 到本校校舍
   索取及即場填寫，並連同所需文件(詳見下列)一併即日遞交。
報名辦法:

(1) 須於指定「報名日」之辦理時間內，攜同填妥之申請表及有
   關證明文件，直接交回本校。
   報名日期: 2011年1月8日 (星期六) 只限一天
   辦理時間: 上午9:00 至下午3:00
   (☆ 備註:「報名日」後遞交之申請表將不獲受理，敬希留意。)
(2) 報名所須呈交文件:
   a. 報名表（以正楷填寫及貼上小朋友正面4×5 cm之半身近
      照一張）；

I just called to the school, they replied

Central am/pm class 60, total 120
Butler Mountain am class, total 60

Actually same as last year

i dunno if the admin will be combined or not, but at the website of mt. butler, there says they have 60 seats as only am class will be offfer... as i remember, there are both am & pm class in central... so they total have 120 seats..

Usually there are more people applied for Central campus, so it's not easy to say which one gets higher chance.

我就係咁諗，之前因為畢拉山比較近屋企，同埋有朋友小朋友以前係o個到讀，所以一心諗住會報佢，但既然而家兩間都會係同一校舍上課，所以想知兩間課程上有咩分別。

Should be

Both use the same books. (Eng: Oxford Reading Tree)
P1 allocation is similar.
Both are teaching in Chinese.
Fo K1:
English class 4 classes a week - each class last 20 minutes.
PTH class - 1 classes a week - each class last 20 minutes - same PTH teacher for both schools.
No homework for K1.
teachers and supervisor are different for two schools.

Most people will choose Sheng Kung Hui against St Paul Church.

The P1 allocation is good. 2/3 students eventually go to DSS and Private schools.

另外,睇language方面,好似英/普都好少時間喎.....會吾會language太弱? (雖然我都知吾少幼稚園英普都差吾多係咁多時間)但點解升小一升得咁好?

我地剛去過果個臨時校舍 (即而家靈糧堂用緊果個), 地方很大, 環境都唔錯, 如果學校政策同校長老師主任都唔變, 似乎影響都不大, 大家可以安心報讀, 祝大家好運!!!!

I have been to the Lingkiang KG. personally I found it very nice, with lots of sunshine and i like it very much. i think it is better than the skh central school campus.

the parents are very keen & financially able to cultivating the kids by joining lots of tutoring and joining lots of external competition. Coupled with the fact that many parents are old boys or old girls of famous schools, that's why the P1 allocation is so good.

some kids on K2 already have private tutoring AT HOME on core subjects - like english and chinese, mathematics.

I have seen the baby's birthday in the classroom notice board. It is very dispersed on different months. No strong weighting on the first six months. So it revealed small babies having same chance.
Interview should be held on 15/1 for Central and 22/1 for Mount Butler.
