我個小朋友係08年11月細女，知道舊年考聖心要求小朋友跳去攞o野，知道後已用好多方法train佢，但仲係跳唔起。請問如果其他方面ok，只係唔識跳，會唔會都有取錄機會?? Thanks!!

唔好緊張啦, 平常心...上年考跳, 今年未必考, 要test, 好多野可以test..

我都知學校可以用唔同o既方法去考小朋友，只係想知如果真係咁o既情況，仲有冇機會o者??

只係我個人想法:

我諗學校係想睇吓小朋友會唔會 follow instructions... 有 intention jump 而 jump 唔到, 比明顯唔肯 jump 會好 d. 希望你明白我意思啦.

我覺得 (again, stressing 係我個人感覺, 不代表學校立場) 學校一般收生係比較乖, 定, 同合作既小朋友. 但都會有 d 例外既, 如小囡...

yep 小囡係 K1 + 細B.
係會冇 D 大 B 咁定
功課 K1 剛開始每日一張, 比起其他學校唔算多 (甚至少 d tim)

不過都要對自己有信心

one of the question / task from the interview last year was:

for the kid, in cantonese - pretend you're a bunny, and hop over to the other side of the room to pick up the bigger (or smaller or red or green) cup

上年我囡囡都係唔識跳, 只是好像騎馬仔咁, 前後腳彈吓彈吓咁過去攞野, 最後好彩都好咗, 所以唔使咁緊張, 放鬆d, 可能會好d呢!

對細b來講,係真有少少唔著數, 因為老師要俾多d時間同心機個細路, 但人人都一樣比咁多錢學費, 唔緊要啦!

Last year is bunny jump then this year most probably may not be the same.
Also the school is mainly look at the overall development of the child is it up to speed - if the child is a small baby then maybe their requirement will be less stringent.
Provided the child did understand the instruction and try - then don't worry so much. I do not think this will be the decisive factor anyway, say if she is very smart in answering other questions.

舊年是由1個父或母倍小朋友入課室, 裡面有幾張枱, 每張枱坐一個老師見一個家庭, 會攞起一件玩具問小朋友是什麼來的, 有什麼用, 跟住叫小朋友兔仔跳過去取大或細茶杯回坐位, 跟住問父母問題, 答完就走得啦!

可能入去前家長都比 d warm up 小朋友會好 d
例如同佢講定入去有老師同我地玩架, 老師好鍚小朋友架, 如果合作既話, 同老師玩完 daddy mami 同你去 xxx (佢最鐘意既地方)咁
對我囡有 d 幫助 (佢係 0710 尾)

hm i heard last year, at the time of interview, teachers didn't get to see the kids' application form, so didn't know the child's exact age.

What kind of questions did the teacher ask the parents?

Will it be problem if my daughter can't answer in Cantonese? We speak to her mainly in Mandarin and some English.

We went to 2 interviews so far. The teacher asked in Cantonese but she managed to answer all in English.

上年老師要求阿女跳她沒有理會只向老師說了一句 : 我真係唔想跳呀!
最後, 收左A.M offer , 我想老師最希望小朋友會表達自己呢
