標題: st stephen co-ed ( stanley ) vs st stephen girls [打印本頁]

My eldest girl got offer from these 2 schools which i have alrd registered in st stephen girls and registration date for co-ed will be on 7 dec. What would your option be if you have 2nd and 3rd kid who are also girls??

I have asked a few people and mostly voted st stephen's girls, but when you mention st stephen's girls is much better, could you be more specific? I am new to hk education system and not sure if i am choosing the right one for the girls..

Maybe you should also consider the secondary. Not sure about the overall performance of st stephen (stanley) secondary.

Over the years, St Stephen's Girls' has certainly built up a reputation far exceeding that of St Stephen's College (Stanley) - both academically & otherwise (notably music).
But many Stanley parents will argue that being a DSS, Stanley can choose their own students & may arguably fare better in the future.
Stanley also has a campus that is the envy of most schools in Hong Kong.
Personally, I still prefer St Stephen's Girls' as it has been head & shoulder above Stanley & I am one who believes in track records.

Obviously, St Stephen's Girls' is better than St Stephen's Stanley, but without doubt, St Stephen's Stanley's campus is one of the best in HK.

I like Heep Yunn a lot - it has an excellent record in academics, music as well as sports, & I don't quite understand why it has not enjoyed as much recognition as it deserves.
I would certainly choose Heep Yunn over Stanley, for much the same reasons I would choose St Stephen's girls' over Stanley.
I have no doubt that Stanley will come good in time but when it comes to schools, I'll take an established one over one with potential any day!
