標題: 英基ESF連interview都唔比，點解要收$300報名費？ [打印本頁]

之前上網報左青衣間ESF，除左要print曬D質料出黎挂號寄返去之後，仲要即時比$300報名費。今日收到信話reject，連interviews都無，有無搞錯？甘凴咩收人$300報名費？？勁angry囖。
其他學校收$30，仲一定有interviews，又唔使寄挂號。英基甘嚇錢既？好似黑店甘！

Maybe they thought those ppl applying International kindergarten are rich so dun care about that $300.

吓? 冇interview? 我個friend 報Wukaisha分校好似有Interview wow

I won't care about that $300 but I think it's not fair that they don't even give u an interview chance, then from a consumer point of view, I can't see any admin process will cost them $300 lor.

I apply for Tsing Yi which is near to where we live and more popular, they also mentioned on the letter that I could try Wukaisha which has shorter waiting list.

即係單睇你基本資料都已經確定唔收你, 咪當幫你慳左交通費同時間. 睇資料人地都要人手咁解. 但 $300 又真係貴左. $30 外面一樣有名校收左都無得IN.

This situation is already stated on the website that places are allocated to Cat 1 students, then to Cat 2 students. You are put on the waiting list as the no. of Cat 1 students is well over the places offered.
ESF is decided for kids who can't speak Chinese and therefore they have categorised the students.
My kid's mother tongue is Cantonese but still got an interview in WKS cos there is less Cat 1 students.

I do agree with you and I'm one of the victims also. When I was applying for it, I told my HB that I wanna pay $300 to at least visit the school and see how different is an Int'l school to a local school... Sigh.. Now they dun offer an interview and I can't even visit their school!
And what's worse is I enriched their mailing list. They keep sending me info about their Playgroup and activities in their campus!

原來英基冇interview就可以reject?本來想申請，不過太太話：如果收，係唔係會去讀先？我諗過下，又未必，最後好彩冇

如果未去過TY英基既家長不防假日行去睇下，或者參加佢地既openday。睇完既話你可能冇禁介意冇得interview。

我都報了英基地(TY)，也是FAIL...真是罵追店，我有FREIND個女今年升K1 ESF 在 KJS...她也是CAT 2，可能當年出生率低....今年人多了，KEEN COMPETITION

I am one of the victims too! But my friend (from China) got it. I called the school and the staff said there are no interviews but just place visiting (that means almost those invited will get an offer ) so, the chance of those in the waiting list is near 0.

ESF 不嬲都好清楚講到明係俾唔能夠讀 local school 既學童 (即係唔識中文) 絕對優先權, 其實冇得怨架喎. 如果你唔屬於 Category 1, 基本上就係一個機會率好低既大抽獎.

I applied for my elder daughter 2 times (Tsing Yi Reception 1 & Beacon Hill Primary PG 1), failed in both times = -$300 X 2 = -$600, and never got an interview as well.

我都有報kingsxxx wor~~雖然夜o左表好耐,但都仲未有得in...但佢無收我800呀....佢地話收阿仔先交ga
