We haven't. All the KGs we applied are limited to Wanchai and HK West.

小兒明年考 KG, 我們不會考九龍堂的學校，對一個 K1 的小朋友來講太遠了。

i won't. don't even know the names of those famous schools.. just discovered what is KV, LH. May consider primary in Kowloon but if they got in, will also consider to move. Def not in K stage.
However, I'm not interested in DBS,DGS, KV, etc for those really really famous and academic school. I'd observe the kid's character in K before deciding what is best for them later.

As far as I know, not many children living in HK island apply KG in Kowloon Tong but many many Kowloon living children apply the KG in HK island! Particular for those living in TKO and TY.

我住港島西, 我自己平日都怕遠, 一年都去唔到KLT 2次, 都唔想個仔日日去旅行咁返學.幼稚園好多時打風落雨唔洗返, 太遠去接佢都好煩.近近地, 有時可晏d返工, 送佢返下學, 應該開心d.

I think you should ask whether Kowloon Tong school will take those kids who live on HK Island. I live on HK Island and ready to move back to Kowloon if my son get accepted by either SC or KV because his father's Primary school was on Kowloon side, so eventually we will move back so that we can get advantage of the scoring system. It is just a matter of time. However, my son only got on waiting list for both schools. I wonder location is one of the key consideration for them accepting the kid

I think location is one of the consideration coz both myself and two of friends who all live in HK side got waitlist offer from SC only!!!

HA, I think location is not that important. We live in Kowloon Tong but got rejected by KV and waitlist with SC
