For everybody's info:

I am going to move in these few days n I suddently think about the envolope I filled in with the wrong address. That's why I called St Cat to see if I can change the address. They said they had sent out all result today!

yes.... I also called St Cat and the staff told me that we will be receiving the letter soon within this week.

You can use Post office service to transfer your letter from old address to new address.

I also moved a week ago and I use their service because many self-stamp envelope are stated with my old address.

原本係用平常心去等result, 唔知點解一見你個post個心就離一離. 好驚喎, in 咗幾間, 雖然話就話得就得, 唔得就算, 但係如果個女真係俾人reject咗都會有啲唔開心!

我都冇信心佢地會收我個仔, 因為8000去爭600個位, 入唔到真係好正常, 但人始終都想有奇蹟出現, 明天唔知有冇奇蹟呢?

阿女係細b,六號果日interview,我覺得個老師無耐性,見阿女唔理佢,佢就話咁我地唔玩呢樣野,玩第二樣先...唉,阿女都唔鐘意個老師...實in得唔好...呢間係我好想入架!

haha, same here. After I hanged up, my heart kept beating n I screamed in front of my maid..... I know I got my own consideration that I might not 100% for sure to take the offer even they accept my gal ( if we are lucky enough). But I still really feel excited about the reasult. It's a test of her performance n her luck too. Good LUCK everyone!

話抱平常心啫 , 機会渺茫 , 但總是有盼望 , 快D揭盅啦 , 我个心囉囉攣 , 好唔安樂 , 日日昅住个信箱 , 看更一定覺得我痴痴地 , 又成日問佢今日派咗信未 , 呢段時間 , 真係畢生難忘 , 而家完哂所有interview, 唔知點解就覺得好失落 , 點算 ? 也有解脫的感覺.

P.S. 我仲等緊result from St. Cat, Good Hope, Soka & KM.

我情況同你一樣, 又係搬左屋, 又係用左舊地址做信封, 我今朝打去sc，佢地話未處理到, check 唔到..... 我已經用左post offic transfer 服務, 但係我只登記了我和c6 的名, 我個信封係寫xxx家長收, 應該轉唔返比我.... 我真係好苦惱呢.......

I guess they will not check for u until the end of this week or even next week since they don't want to give u the result over the phone n then too may ppl call to check....Don't worry. I bet they will do it for u after 4-5 days later...Good luck!

perhaps they arrange the interview time according to the appl #, so that similar # will be interviewed at the same time slot.
FYI, my # is not start at 4,xxx and I think the first # is 0001 as mine is 00xx.

Your number was so "small" and must be at earlier sequential order.... Your kid is BIG B.... ??

my gal is Nov 2008..... also numbered as 4,xxx.....it was the same for those kids lining up at the queue.

I also saw the labels were all 4,xxx....on the table being distributed to the kids.

the letter is sent to my office in wan chai.
My daughter could do all the tasks and asnwered most of the questions, but she did not answer the most simple question, i.e. what's your name. And she did not say thank you, even I had remind her to do so.
She did not do well in lego task. She kept asking me to sit with her.

Congratulations to those parents whose babies got accepted !!!!

Out of curiosity, i am very interested to know for those who got accepted, is it that the baby performed very well during interview, or is it because of the parents'/families' background (like being professional, or living in very good district)?

Sorry that this question may be a bit odd ... but we really wanna know just to get prepared and see what is their acceptance criteria  ... tks in advance for sharing ...

首先向所有BK問安，又向有Offer的父母說聲恭喜、恭喜！如果在Waiting list的父母，都不要灰心，因為還有機會哩！我都同意一句話：This is not the end of the world.
我有3個小朋友，3個都好感恩可以入到SC。屈指一算，我要陪小朋友讀SC八年時間，因為第一個小朋友已經P2，第二個K3，第三個將會入SC N Class。
我看見好多父母對SC有不同感受，我都想分享一下。
首先，SC老師好似不夠tender love and care。對於"論盡"的小朋友的幫助不夠多。我同意SC不是helicopter teachers，但肯定有tender love, care and wisdom。我記得我第二個小朋友比較內向、太靜，SC老師都好直接指出問題。不過，她們不是說了就走，反而用多種"絕招"把小朋友改變過來。她們常常說，SC小朋友一定要主動，independent及敢言。坦白說，老師對自己的小朋友有批評，一定不開心，但當第二個小朋在今年K3考取心儀小學offers，任何不開心的說話都拋諸腦後。我記得第一、第二個小朋友都在11月左右有Offers或second interviews，我第一時間就返SC和SC老師分享喜悅！好多謝SC老師，小朋友的好多問題真的只有外面有心人才夠牙力糾正。
第二，SC課程好深好難！我都同意，SC父母肯定要花時間"谷"功課，起初我都反對這種形式。不過，眼看小朋友很快就滿口英語，不同concepts好入，又好喜歡返學，又喜歡reading，我都決定支持他們，兩公婆全力配合學校課程。其實，香港的教育就是這樣，家長不配合，小朋友學業就差些。
第三，SC到K3就要考P1，SC小朋友好多都在11月、12月左右有offers。不過，我給大家心裡準備，考小一越來越難，大家可以看看出生率已經大幅回升就明白。再者，全港家長心儀的十大名小學又搞小班，不少SC Upper家長都覺得SC的名牌效應都不如以往。但是，SC始終是SC，我今年都在小一入學second interviews聽到有學校讚賞SC英文好，小朋友好活。
最後，SC家長非常competitive，不少小朋友都有不少awards，對於不想爭的家長都有壓力。我好感謝主，在SC都認識了不少戰友，都是好朋友了！
希望上述分享幫助大家作出决定哩。

我想問o下我收到pm waiting letter from SC想問o下係咪所有waiting的都是pm class呢?? 如果係的話,咪好難排到自己囉?

Yes. I know there were some parents in past years to write a letter to request for change from PM to AM or vice versa. You need to state out your reasons for such a change. There were some successful cases in the past.

My girl got accepted in Eng/PTH class (AM), my husband and I are not professional and we just live in Whampoa area. Don't worry, try your best, good luck.

我三個小朋友都讀英粵班，所以都不能比較英普英粵之別！
不過我在SC堅持入英粵班，主要因為英粵班不少老師都有20+年教學經驗，其中有不少有master degrees，日子久了，小朋友都愛模仿老師言行舉止，師資這一點十分重要！
至於SC要努力比賽，我的情況最多都是一年5-6次，可以接受，又集中在暑假。比賽目的，主要希望trian up小朋友面對群眾及說話技巧，比賽成績不是最重要。畢竟，小一面試都是這樣，臨場表現非常重要！

我打去問英粵班，K1 - 中英文老師在班房，另一星期有3堂普通話，有無再出外補 PTH? 到K2 & K3 只有中文班主任，英文堂 1/3 時間，普通話都是3堂，需要出外 take extra lesson?
同埋那些比賽，是不是人人有份? 或只揀精 ...

呢點我都響St Cat條thread到過，K2開始NET響到時間少左，到底使唔使出去補英普？

睇完你咁講小朋友讀得咁好,我更加心大心細,因為SC收左我囡AM 英粵班,本來我報英普班架,唔知點算好添.唯有等埋其他結果先啦,仲有幾間未IN.
