Seldom heard parents make comparison between these 2 schools together because they are in different grading. St Paul Boys for sure, in terms of prestigious of the school and the school net location. It's most of the mami's dream school also.

St Paul Boys is much better. The headmistress is so good and is really care about in providing good education to the kids.

從我在北循開放日及日常家長口碑當中, 北循校長及老師一樣有這樣理想及關愛.

但兩間比較我會選 St Paul Boys, 雖然我喜歡男女校.

因我一直是一條龍擁護者.

St Paul's Boys 並非真正一條龍喎, 小六畢業生要四科主科有good pass 先可以升讀中一, 每年約90% 小六生達標。

其實佢都係算"一條龍", 你講得岩, 佢要小六生"達標", 咁都好公平, 冇理由水平唔夠都比佢"直升". 不過校長講過, 學生係自己同自己爭. 如果全級個個達標, 係會100%收哂. 當然, TOP 既可能比D名校之中既名校取錄而放棄SPC.

無錯, 北循在東區網係一間好學校

, 但就不及座落中西區校網的St Paul Boys.

Hi HCH,

The headmistress has a heart to provide the best quality of education to the child.

I used to study in 循道 in Yaumatei, which I think would be similar to 北循.

循道 is definitely one level below St. Paul Boys.

Come on, Kenfu,

We are now looking for a good primary school, not a secondary school.

At this moment, I only know that the primary school is excellent. No one knows what will happen in at least 6 year's time. The headmaster of the secondary school is making some reforms and I would expect their academic results will be improved pretty soon.

其實選擇學校是很個人及艱鉅的決定，相信家長在替孩子選擇一間適合他們的學校前，已仔細考慮／比較及平衡各種因素。要知道這樣的一個決定其實背後要有很大的信心和堅持才可以達成，所以我們是否應該多點尊重及支持，而不是不斷批評及挑剔呢？

Dear kenfu, I think you need to support your statement with the actual figures, e.g. HKCEE / HKAL results. It's not fair to give -ve comment without the figures.

Kenfu, it's no nice to have actual figures provided by you. I think it's good to support the comment (esp. -ve comment). Why you bet I'm not believe in you? I know 2 guys graduated from King's college, got 13pts and 4 pts in HKCEE respectively. The guy got 13 pts is able to prompte to King's F6.

Anyway, St. Paul Boys is still most parents' dream school.

看到 Kenfu 兄和 FredKong01 兄的討論.....

兩位好爸爸相信對小弟的認識都不淺, 亦知早前我跟另一家長在爭論過, 我的觀點是"聖保羅男女"在港人的名氣/認受性比"聖保羅男校"高 (註: 雖然我是聖保羅男校的家長)

我搵到一些 figures 給 Almond 家長參考, 我覺得 Kenfu 兄說得很有道理, 看到 SPC 去年升大學的成績, 心情都有點兒那個, 因為有 Statistical data (St. Paul’s NEWS 2009 to 2010, see below link at Pg. 29)

Total : 71人 (2009 to 2010 form. 7 學年)
入讀本地大學有 26人 (36.6%)
入讀海外大學有 12人 (16.9%)
入讀Asso / High Dip有 33人 (46.5%)

主觀願望 (跟 FredKong兄一樣), 當然希望將來 SPC整體有所進步

其實我相信 FredKong 兄都有同感就是今日的成績 behind 左唔緊要, 只要肯努力, 將來一定會進步, 有所提升, 呢種係我地香港人拼搏精神 core value, 跌低左, 起翻身再努力, 真係好平常, 我相信陳校長和 Dr. Kennard都會認同這個奮鬥價值觀

校長:你可唔可以講俾我聽你識寫嘅五個字呀?
孩子:在低班時我寫過"上,大,人"; 高班時寫過"車,我,哥".
校長:我係叫你講五個,但你而家講咗六個喎.
孩子:你叫我講五個,無話唔可以多過五個喎.
這孩子最後當然落選了.
