無論是官津, DSS or 私校, 希望各位早d決定, 唔好hold住幾個位, 幫吓我哋d on waiting list 的爸媽, 萬個多謝!

I agree that making the decision is difficult. It is really hard to give up the good schools. but at last we should make our decision so why not sooner? At least we needn't to think about that all the time. It is quite suffering!

其實我係有感而發, 最初GT收咗,但我哋考慮過之後無註冊 . 然後就係 reject 同 waiting 信, 自行又唔得...

今日同個女等校車,有個媽咪話, 佢連自行都ok, 有5個offers, 可能會hold 吓, 再諗吓...我真係唔識反應. 無疑佢個小朋友係好叻, 但最後, 都係返一間小學啫.

希望大家可以將"唔hold位"的做法宣揚開去.

我都想問, 究竟可唔可以註冊多過一間dss呢?

You can hold more than 1 DSS place because the government only ensures you don't enrol in DSS and government or government-aided schools at the same time.

However, please be considerate and do not keep other parents frustrated by your holding the places for too long. Some parents may not even have an offer yet.

我都掙扎了幾天
但都是決定唔去自行那間
俾個機會後補的人,等其中一個不用玩大抽獎,等到出年6月
雖然我可以注冊,等DSS再通知教育局,然後學校再將個位撥入大抽獎.
但決定不要
可能有連後備都沒有的會閙我,因為這樣他/她們的小朋友在大抽獎時少了機會
只能說抱歉

你自行o個間既然你無去註冊，如果有候補名單就會先通知佢地，無就自動放o係大抽獎，相信總有人因為你o既決定受惠。

我都掙扎左幾日，作唔同角度o既比較，o係Bk好彩有位家長開左o個 post收料，亦問左d朋友，最後決定揀質素算ok，有直屬中學o既小學。KY本身真係唔錯，可惜無直屬/一條龍中學，升中往積又只係一般，所以無奈出局。我知道今年KY備取生唔少人，所以希望幫到佢地其中一個。

如果黎緊兩間有得2nd int o既學校其中一間取錄，我地可能連自行個位都放番出黎。

o係衡量o既過程，我上網做左d升中程序o既功課，呢個都算係得著之一。

始終TKO的升中校網競爭太大
而如果入不了精英班就唔使想入到好學校
那樣小朋友跟自己就好大機會因壓力而相互傷害
所以升小,其實要了解埋升中的程序的

我就比較懶，當初揀o既學校除左KY外都有直屬/一條龍中學，所以無乜花時間去搵升中o既資料，到殺到埋身先至惡補。

We:-
(1) did not register for the discretionary school place;
(2) have registered at a DSS; and
(3) did not register at another DSS.
Actually, we have agonized over whether to register at that other DSS as well, which is equally popular and (we so understand) difficult to get in, so that we can have a bit more time to choose between these 2 DSS's. Eventually we gave up the offer from that other DSS, after putting ourselves in the shoes of those parents who are still desperately trying to secure a P1 school place for their loved ones,and imagining that these parents may be quietly weeping at bedtime, having sleepless nights, suffering from total loss of appetite or even nervous breakdown, etc. Parents, what goes around comes around. If you have 2 or more offers on hand and are still deciding what to do with them, please have sympathy with those parents who are much less fortunate, and let go whatever that you don't really have to keep.

我問過高主教，佢地唔理自行有冇註册，只睇我地有冇大抽獎，所以理論上係可以keep 到出年3月。
不過我仲要說服其他人接受RC，尤其係老人家。
但當我一有決定會立即通知學校，因我都知，冇offer 係手既家長果種心情

所以我都唔去 in APS la.....

She said that the DSS did not stop her from joining the first phase of allocation.

註冊左直資的確唔可以再註冊自行同參加大抽獎，但仍然可以註冊另一間直資，註冊直資時簽o個份承諾書只係要你放棄自行同大抽獎。

呢d機制上o既野，問教育局比較適當。問間直資學校，梗係唔想你註冊另一間直資啦。

It’s really glad and touching to see getting more and more parents receive good news.

2 Please don’t give up and desperate if you are still on waiting when you know many BK parents give hands and supports to you.
3.
I believe some parents who are waiting and nothing before may now get several offers at the same time after decline from the considerate parents.
Please be considerate too and make decision sooner because it can help many sleepless and suffered parents.
4.
Wishing all BK parents get in your dream and beloved schools.
