想請問, 自行分配學位後, 是否所有人都會收到信 (accept 或 reject) ? 或是個別學校問題 ? 謝 ~

我抽DPS，昨日下午已收到信，內容大致話今次唔中，可以係第二輪再揀過，唔似waiting信喎

wait信唔會咁早, 最少都等班正選唔去註冊先到我地, 即要過埋24,25...

但我見到有d topic 話已經收到信, 所以才有此問題. 因為我無收到任何信.

我22號收到信，內容係話今次落選如果好心儀就下round填返佢學校都可有機會仲，再唔得可來扣門。應該不是waiting信。

係囉, 我就係唔明, 究竟係咪無規定學校發唔發信, 只係有d學校自願地發信呢 ?

點解要靠派信去通知申請人自行分配學位的結果? 大部份都會在網上公佈, 亦一定會在校內張貼結果. 張 list 無自己個 no. 咪知失敗咗 law....

等收信, 佢派遲咗點算

政府冇規定學校要出信, 好似我報o個間就交表o既時候講明22號上學校website或去學校門口睇.

Different schools have different practices in respect of sending acceptance letters, because this is an optional notification method.  I believe at least the schools will post the printed admission results somewhere in the school.

Posting the results on the internet is not mandatory either.  The government-aided school my son applied for did not post results on the internet and I had to go to the school to see if his name was on the list.  All or part of his name can be concealed if the school is concerned about privacy for publishing the info on the internet.

I really hope EDB will make posting results on the school's web site mandatory, in addition to the printed ones inside the school.  It does not take much effort (and hence $$$) but it will be much more convenient for parents applying for more distant schools.

Concerning the reply letter, I guess some parents just want to clarify whether their kid was admitted or not.
