"在其後學年, 本校各級學位如有空缺, 請閣下致函本校, 提出插班申請."

唔知係咪如有位, 學校會考慮呢?

家係個個封信都一樣?

From my understanding, this should be treated as a rejection letter. I think there are 3 types of letter:

(1) accept: 150
(2) waiting list: 50
(3) reject: the rest of the applicants, i.e. about 2,200

我覺得係指第年考插班
我諗因為pass左1st round interview而選出的二百人, 學生質素已經算唔錯, 第時考插班都仲有機咁解~
