一間ＫＧ內，有分canadian based 和 IB based 兩種比家長選，請問在教學上有何分別？兩者都是活動教學嗎？

According to IBO, not yet offer "IB Kindergarten".

There is no IB kindergarten curriculum. Any school that says "IB based" "IB style" may not even be close to IB at all.

I think it is just that parents would be pleased with anything that is NOT the local curriculum. And unfortunately, IB is always quoted because it "seems" more international than most western national curriculum. And a lot of local schools love to say they teach "just like IB", yet without the needs to go through the accreditation, blah blah blah...

PYP starts at the age of 3, which is the same as that for kindergarten (K1 or nursary) here in Hong Kong. There are indeed some kindergartens which offer IB programme (not mereby IB approach).

You may be right, we need a paradigm shift from nursey or kindergarten stage to age group.

In fact, my son finished his kindergarten in one of them. I chose it not because of the IB based but because it is the nearest kindergarten to my home (the most important thing to me).
