So far I like this school. I find that it has a well-planned syllabus. I think that children should develop self-motivation to learn. My son really speaks more in English and putongua. Maybe suitable amount of informal (but small') assessment like spelling tests 'forces' him to study regularly.

Will there any formal summative assessment like other primary schools?

Hi, wingszesze,
The school does have Summative Assessement for each student, once a school term, the 1st one is to be given in January.
