any parent here can give any comment on RC? the teachers seem to be experienced.

How is the cirrculum? easy or harsh? Except Eng, how many subjects are taught in Eng?

I'm quite intested in RC, my son got an offer and probably will register on 27.11.

Hi yansy,

China + PTH are teach by PTH
English + GS + Maths teach by English
常識 + 數學 + P.E. + I.T. + 音樂 teach by Cantonese

老師們都很有愛心及經驗, 不過當然比幼稚園老師嚴謹d和要求高d等等...

係呀, 數學及常識科各有英文及中文課本架. 我最喜是可讓小孩子自小一已接觸英數...GOOD!

Hi FungMm,

Is your son/daughter studying in RC, how is the academic standard of RC? Are u / is your son/daughter find it hard to study in RC? How is the discipline of the students? I found the teachers are mature and sincere, during the day of interview.

If Maths and GS are both taught in Eng/Chinese, how is it in the exam, the student needs to take both or only Chinese or English?

I dont mind if the teacher is strict. One of the reasons of my considering RC is RC is traditional and strict.

What class is your son/daughter is in now? Is there any net teacher? how long do they spend the lesson with the students if there is?

Do I need to give up the place in P5 or P6 if I participate in the allocation for F1? Though RC is in net 12, it seems very competitive and difficult to struggle a place in other secondary schools such as St Jo or Wah Yan, right? Are most of the students target in RC secondary school rather than other schools, though there are more prestigous schools in Wan Chai?

Do I need to give up the central allocation in P5 or P6 if I want a chance in other secondary schools in Net 12? Is most of the students target on RC secondary school in F1? It seems very competitive to get in other secondary schools in Wan Chai, right?

I do like RC, cos I found the teachers are mature and sincere, during the day of interview. What I want to know more is if the chance to get in other pretigous secondary schools in net 12 is very slim or not.

Yes, my son is studing at P.2 but I am not starting to search above information of RC Secondary Section....

If you don't mind please try to ask it to "升中派位 / 初中教育".

RC is also famous of many politician, investment and financial expert. As the primary located in very prestige wan chai net 12 & secondary located in central net 11.

不是。自行可選二間中學，高小生通常會選 RC，自行與統一派位是同日放榜。全級考 100 名之內很大機會入 RC.

do i need to choose two schools in different priority? If I am more interested in xxx secondary school, how if I want to put xxx secondary school as the 1st choice and RC as the second choice? Is it saver the put RC as the 1st priority?

Hi,

Yes, there is 1st choice and 2nd choice. If your kid
has accepted by both schools, your kids will
allocate to 1st choice school. The result will be
announced in the same day.
