仔仔是8月仔，平時有閱讀習慣，基本的英語溝通能力，會簡單普通話，按指令做動作，玩記憶遊戲要75%以上，有時幫手做家務(摺手巾、配對襪仔、晾衫等)，開朗樂觀，多接觸不同本地和外籍人士，甚至主動撩人講嘢，最緊要小朋友本身係喜歡玩遊戲，又考SMC之前同佢講這是有女孩子(佢鍾意女孩子斯文、唔鍾意男校、所以全部男校rejected
)的學校。

Your son is same with my eldest son. He like Co-ed school more than boy's school so when I chose school last year, I mainly focus on Co-ed school.
I guess reading habit seems quite important in this school.

我仔係10月出世,不過就有比佢出面上D ENG ORAL班,享屋企都有同姐姐講英文LOR.但佢答MS LEE,享屋企5洗做家務,只係執玩具,我都以為衰硬.IN完果日,我開始要佢幫手開飯

In an objective analysis, sometimes there are some uncertainty about kids development in future in SMC as I read lots of discussion among forum, not much consolidate secondary study can be retrieved at the moment.
However, my daughter likes SMC right away when she had her first P1 interview (in her life) there, yet as she knew the English environment, location that closed to our home and foreign language study, she definitely told me that she preferred SMC! She expressed that she liked SMC when was browsing at other beautiful school campus during interviews subsequently.
So, is it really belong to the intuitiveness of a 5 yr old girl?

If you think SMC's primary section is OK and your daughter like it, don't worry too much and just go ahead as you are choosing the primary school for your daughter.
After 6 years, you will see the solid result of its secondary section which come from its own primary students + selected student from outside, you can re-consider its secondary section again.

I also think the sec. school section would be better some years later! :)
If your kid like SMC, you should choose SMC!! Once the children love the school, they would enjoy studying more!

Is there any parent who had the 1st interview on 05 Nov or after but still get no reply ? I call today and they said we have to wait at least 1 month for the 2nd interview notification or reject letter.

In my case, I waited for around 4 weeks to get the call of 2nd interview. Therefore, I guess you will get the result very soon.

I will chose SMC and I had confidence their new comer from the pri school now after a few year, when they promote to sec school their level will become very high.
For my experience, they need to test a lot of thing at second interview and all those is very deep. It make me feel more confidence to chose this schol as i think it can guaranted the level of the standard. My kids even got accepted from SFA,but I think I like SMC more...

我仔仔今年都考到SMC , 仔仔在First In. 就已經話很鍾意呢間學校, 在Second In. 時, 仔仔話他很喜歡和李副校長談話, 有英文及少少中文, 都有問佢有否做家務, 佢話媽咪做晒, 我心諗死啦! 結果仔仔被取錄, 他很開心呢。但將軍澳沒有校車, 不知點算呢?

佢讀嗰間比迦南還要深,因為我都有朋友讀附近既迦南,佢見我個女間幼稚園學既野比佢嗰間深好多,例如中文,女兒學校K3上學期已經要識寫醫學,美麗,購買.......
下學期要識寫圖畫,儲蓄,蘿蔔,畢業典禮.....
所以我校既校董話我地學校啲學生去邊度都跟得上...
仲有我地好多學生入新油天,今年全級頭十名有一半都係我地既畢業生,所以其實我個囡囡如果入油天的話,相信都可以~

我個人認為如果你讀傳統幼稚園想考SMC就要報英文班輔助,其實我自己都由K1開始教囡囡英文(我係U GRAD既),但係又覺得自己講嗰啲港式英文又對個女唔係咁好,所以我主力教串字同GRAMMAR,而聽講能力就要靠出面搵NET學~

No, she chose the cantonese group (HD). For K3, there are no more Cantonese group so now she must learn chinese in Madarin.

中英文K2開始已經要默書,所以一定要識寫/串個字出黎,同埋要做理解,即係睇佢明唔明個字點解,K3就學埋寫句子,我同佢溫默書都係要默埋句子架~
數學K2已學加減數,順數倒數,單數雙數,寫1-100
K3學埋直式加減數,依家學5同10既倍數,相信黎梗會教看時鐘,呢啲我個女K2時我已經教晒佢:D 對佢完全無難度
點解我校有咁多學生入新油天:
1)佢地既哥哥姐姐喺度讀梗嗰啲細佬妹一定跟埋入去
2)新油天幾鐘意我地學校啲學生,所以叩門都有機會
3)好多家長都揀新油天為第一志願,仔女派咗入去
其實當初只係因為我區口碑最好呢間幼稚園所以我先揀!今年有3百幾人APPLY我地N1既位,但係N1只有24個名額,好多哥哥姐姐喺度讀梗都入唔到~

she didn't learn English outside at all. In fact she just learns drawing as ECA.

好多幼園都會教phonics,我記得迦南 k2都會教 phonics點解仲要出去外面學 既???
k2 係有教, 不過教得好慢架, 可能真係冇時間啩, 我女下學期都開始咗兩個月, 教咗兩次咋. 可能想學得深啲啩, 咪出去再學囉, 我自己就冇喇.

Yes, she met Miss Lee in the 2nd in only. She said it was not only in English.
She enjoyed the 1st interview most because there were a lot of games in her mind. But she didn't tell us everything about the process... I remember it would consist of Mandarin, English, physically skill and so on.

中英文K2開始已經要默書,所以一定要識寫/串個字出黎,同埋要做理解,即係睇佢明唔明個字點解,K3就學埋寫句子,我同佢溫默書都係要默埋句子架~
數學K2已學加減數,順數倒數,單數雙數,寫1-100
K3學埋直式加減數,依家學5同1 ...

當然知道, 我的囡囡都是讀這間幼稚園(是上午高A班), 你囡囡讀哪一班? 看看日後小學會否同一班?

你6月會唔會再考其他直資/私小???定係已經FIRM實讀呢間?
佢地第日實有機會做同學,因為SMC中英數都分3GROUPS,同埋一級得75人,佢地啲小朋友好快就玩到好CLOSE既
