Here is a more detailed description of the certification process:

Certification consists of three seminars(Beginning, Intermediate and Advanced) and Professional Supervision. All seminars are one week long and in Houston, Texas. The Beginning and the Intermediate Seminars are scheduled “back to back” so attendees can complete them in two consecutive weeks. Our next Beginning/Intermediate Seminars are in December.

After trainees complete the Intermediate Seminar, they return to their home to begin Professional Supervision. They are assigned a supervisor and have found two families to work with. There are 14 video assignments the trainee must complete for Professional Supervision. These assignments are sent to the trainee’s supervisor via video uploads. The trainee will receive feedback on these assignments from their supervisor via email. After the trainee finishes the fourth tape assignment, they can register for the Advanced Seminar..

Certification is completed on the trainee’s own individual time line. The amount of time the process takes depends on how well the trainee implements RDI with their supervision families and if they submit all assignments on time. We have found that the average time certification takes is 18 months. You will have to make two trips to Houston. The first for the Back to Back Beginning/Intermediate Seminars and the second for the Advanced Seminar.

1) The 2011 Back to Back Seminars are June 21- 24 and June 27-30. The December Back to Backs are the same , November 29-December 2/ December 5-8.

2) Beginning Seminar: $2200

Intermediate Seminar: $2200

Professional Supervision: $2640

The cost of all three of these components is $7040 which is split into two payments:

· First Payment: $3520 due when you register

· Second Payment: $3520 charged 10 days before the seminars

大致上要分兩次去texas, 每次約上2-3個星期堂...其餘時間可番香港上網交功課...

完成時間約年半...

sorry，今晚先有時間take a glance。依你對這個課程的了解，你是否已報了名？

也有幾項事想問問你：
- 那2-3 weeks，你的accommodation怎安排？
- 個programme說要work with two families，應該係指兩個美國的家庭，對嗎？如果係，我會有點沒信心，始終我母語唔係英語。
- 同埋這個qualification，香港會否accredit？
- 佢的入學資格好似寫得不太清楚，好似只要college graduate，任何專門都ok，但又說non-professional的parent要讀多6個月的課程，咁即係點？
- 另外佢好似未講advanced seminar的開課日期同cost，定係我睇漏？
- 係呢，你本身對RDI係咪都幾了解同幾buy，因為我不太認識這個therapy，我只想搵d岩仔仔的training﹗

希望唔好誤會我challenge你，我真係唔識先問，thanks﹗

如果要考牌, 只係texas有...香港有堂比父母去了解係咩...另外, 亦可比$治療師去做訓練
