The interviewer (9/25) said the result would be released about 3 weeks after the interview date.

Maybe, we will get the letter next week.

For me, not yet get any call or letter from York (intervieiw at 9/25). Anyway, congratulation to u....no matter if u will accept it or not :)

Then will u accept the offer from York ? How much deposit is to be paid for reserving the seat ? And do u know when the debenture fee is to be paid ?

太好喇, cancel 左debenture, 估唔到因禍得福 (positive thinking).....
but i still not yet recevied the offer letter....my child was interviewed on 2 Oct

Do u mean u've just got the offer from York and being advised no more debenture ? Is it true ?

If yes, it is really a good news .... honestly speaking, after the briefing, I was quite sicked to hear about the debenture scheme.

The staff said they cannot say now definitely when the offer letter will be released though it was said it would be announced within 2 weeks after interview.
The reason is there are too many applications being processed.

I think they may have the tactics to see how the recent bad news really will affect parents accpeting or rejecting their offers.

想問下你地當日面試時的情況係點? 同你地係見國際班? 定本地班? 因我係下星期面試的, 我申請國際班, 所以要帶勞作去埋面試呀? 你地整左咩?

My son is also 0801. I didn't ask about the debenture but they asked me to reply before 14th Oct???

My son applied Int'l class and the interview date is 25thSep

I showed 填色&碎貼pictures that were prepared at playgroups attended previously. Further, I also made a VCD showing my gal can read Eng vocabularies from recognising the spellings at flash card and from looking at picture cards respectively.

But it was too noisy at the room & the speaker at the computer was not working very well. Anyway, I believe the teacher can have a more understanding on the kid & definitely can help as most of them are scared of strangers and new environment.

But up till now, I have not received any letter or call for offer or reject.

Before interview, I attended the briefing and at interview, I showed up the attendance slip that the interviewer then marked such at her paper.

又尖子班，梗係覺得佢地先出offer俾大b.唉，細b真係慘。事實我個仔答晒所有問題，連d net 都覺得深既（相對佢既月齡）佢都識讀。但我地都收唔到offer，睇黎今年都白報啦。

吓 ? 又有新搞作 ? 是否要求家長供基金 , 小部分是美其名用作獎勵尖子, 但大大部分是用作籌錢建新校舍 , 如比我講中就弊

萬一好彩有offer , 我在比留位費前也想知得一清二楚 , 到時比咗deposit無得退 , 但又話要供基金 , 就比佢屈, 唔知會否貴過debenture , 家長一定要諗清楚 . 咪上當 !!

Dun worry !! The interview was very simpler than what I expected (though I am not yet rec'd the offer).
But I can feel the positive feelings and comments from the teachers with my answers.

One NET teacher tried to speak with my gal causally when she was playing toys. But my gal did not respond at all as my hubby said.

At the same time, a Chinese teacher had discussed with me for few simple questions (in Cantonese) like :
(1) strong points of the kids ;
(2) how to allocate the responsibilities of teaching between daddy and mummy ;
(3) who take(s) care of the kid daily ?
(4) where will u go / stay with kid at holiday ?

and then showing artworks & DVD to the teacher who then asked me about what being shown.

我個仔係大仔添啦...11/2007...上年報左york...interview 埋..收左..但我怕佢辛苦..所以比佢係元朗萊茵(都係york 既 Mrs. Fung 開辦既) 讀K1... 我想比佢做大仔...所以今年再報多次...我懷疑佢地睇錯年份...當左佢係細仔...攪到 15/10 先有得 in....

但而家聽左d老師講..佢地suggest repeat K2 rather than K1... 因為K2課程深d..又要開始學寫字...頭都痕...

亞女25/9 in 完int'l and 2/10 in 完local, 又話2 weeks 有results, 至今又冇電話又冇信, 就算reject我都要同我講掛, 就黎一個月喇, 都唔知佢地想點, 其他媽媽有冇同我一樣情況架

They just claimed the late reply was due to too much application and dunno why the result would be released.

I guess they may wanna to have the 尖子班 filled up first as they promised those could be directly promoted to K1 next year. So they even could not say ..... how many weeks we have still to wait for the offer / reject letter......

but 尖子班未必一定讀你york架, 其實最方便快捷就全部都waitlist law, 咁又唔會封左自己後路. 咁仲好, 唔使咁快收660, 其他都未開始in

yes.... agreed.

If they give the offer later, at leaset, I still can hve time to consider other kinders' offer(s) provided that we are lucky enough. I dun wanna to spend $ on deposit. Last year, I already wasted $ on reserving seats at 2 kinders for nursery class.

Most definitely, I will consider thosekinders also at good standard with good comments here at BK which no debenture is to be paid.....
