如果時光倒流回到報幼稚園的時間, 你會揀
1) 一條龍幼稚園, 直升小學(但程度可能較淺), 咁依家就un un 腳, 吾洗煩.....
2) 原本個間幼稚園, 咁依家就煩緊揾小學, 但有機會入讀心儀同更好的小學.......??

neither 1) nor 2) because:
原本個間幼稚園, not 一條龍幼稚園, if passed interview 直升小學 (KCPS 程度 okay la, 咁依家就煩 because not accepted by this private school..... 咁依家就煩緊揾小學 , no chance in first round入讀心儀同更好的小學 .......lucky draw la.

This is the same question I asked myself 5 years ago.
I took the second one. I think this is the best foundation my sweetie got. Now, she got a good school better than the "One Dragon"s.

generally, I love the kindergarten of my daughter. I think it won't exert too much pressure to the kids but the teachers would also teach a lot more than the other kindergartens.

Well, but I do dislike the process of looking for primary schools. It is a stressful experience. Not fun at all!

第一個孩子時, 我識嘢太少, 結果找小學時常常問其他人意見, 都幾辛苦.
第二個孩子時, 盡量找有小學的幼稚園, 結果輕鬆好多, 所以現在我會同朋友講, 盡可能的話, 找有小學連幼稚園的讀!

I felt too complicated now. My son was accepted by famous male kindergarten with primary division at K2 but I choose to stay this current school. All people around me said that I am so silly at that time.
Thanks god that my son becomes a polite, smart and confident kid now. And the most important thing is the teacher loves my son so much. I don't think that famous kindergarten has that kind of considerate teachers.....

Not much choice for a boy (KG+ primary) session. I would vote 1 as I have also forgone the one with primary session as he is very happy with his current KG.

樓主呢個問題我絕對有想過, 但唔係時光倒流去返報幼稚園時, 而係由我對女滿月時倒流. 我要倒流堅持自己湊返佢地, 比佢地有安全感. 帶佢地多D去公園同小朋友玩, 出街見多D人. 如果當年我有甘做, 我對女或許會考到一間好的幼稚園, 小學條路可能冇o甘煩

I would choice 1, as I am almost getting crazy for these interviews...........................Is really very excruciating....

and.....may be the biggest mistake was we've returned to HK.........

I also love the kindergarten that my girl was studying. Although it was a "one-dragon" school but my girl got a happy kindergarten life.

I hate to have school interview, so I just choose 3 Primary School jar and it was not a famous school. Yes, I also very nervous if my girl didn't get any offer. Anyway, try our best la. I don't want to give too much pressure to my girl.

我已經揀著 one dragon 卑大女，我鐘意哩間課程淺 D，無太大壓力，可以多 D 親子時間，e.g. 閱讀，玩不同游戲，去 playground 認識新朋友。

其實，even SPCC or DGJS 面試都不是考學術上的題目。

I see what you mean. Agree with you.
But even the child got into a good kindergarten, his/her primary schooling would still be tough.

我會選屋企樓下任何一間幼稚園, 自己就盡量抽時間教佢嘢, 落公園玩, 人際社交, 裝備好for 叩門小學。

當年我只是讀了一間要坐校車的幼稚園, 浪漫很多寶貴時間。又要比錢, 又不實際。

老實講,香港根本唔多好既一條龍上到小學,甚至中學既學校,有'既都要比好多$$,大家自會衡量是否值得,關鍵係如果純粹concern"唔駛煩"咁大可以比政府派位,派到邊間就讀邊間, 一樣係降低要求而達到"唔駛煩"既目標,但我相信大部份家長都希望找到一間合適自己小朋友去讀既學校,我都放棄咗一間有中學既小學,而選擇一間可以在這六年把小朋友裝備得更好既小學
