KV 今年講明只收Oct 07 to Oct 08. 我相信不會有例外，除非無人申請，因為,每年KV，ＳＣ，ＫＭ 都有好多人申請. 今年SC 話會接見8,000 人，我相信KV 都不會少人apply. 如果,有心入KV, 不如下年幫小朋友申請。

we cannot take the form in person, some parents can get it first because they know the students studying in KV, it seems that they are the first batch for interview on 6 Nov am...

Interview on Nov. 6 at 9:30am, another interview in HK island at 10:00am. I guess will need to make an early decision on which to attend.

Omg...my kid's interview schedule is completely the same as yours. I am wondering if there is gonna be enough time to attend both interviews. My B is small B and a very shy boy. Just dont wanna let go of either.

Actually 9:30am and 11:15am is not consider time-crashing at all (compare to mine case with just 30 mins diff and different island side). Many children in past few years have had experiences to interview 4 kindergartens a day, so you case is actually not bad. KV's interview complete very fast (should be within 15mins) so you still have plenty of time to bring your child somewhere to rest (may be simple breakfast) before bringing back to interview at St. Cat.
In a sense, you can consider KV as a good warm-up for St. Cat's interview. Don't feel too much pressure since for the kids, they just think they are playing. Pressures are always from parents.

Oh yes, one key factor during kindergarten interview is time management (sleeping time!). Parents will need to re-arrange the wake up time/ nap time to assure the children is in their peak time.

It seems Kenville reserve the morning session for interview with those who can get forms from the existing Kenville parents?!
For St Catherine, I post the letter on 12 noon of 13/9 but just received the form today. It is pink in color. Interview time is 11:15am on 5th of Nov.
I am so glad that the timing don't clash together.
My boy is Apr 2008.
Ian, you have a second child? I saw your daughter's photo before. What's the age of the second child?

The timing is quite good and you are lucky not to have interview time crash into each other. We have give up interview of KV.
We didn't apply thru existing parents but still got morning interview time..... actually it would be better if we got on in afternoon......
Yes, I have a second daughter who aged two so will need to apply for K1 this year also.

Ian....can you also share the difference between KV & SC as i know so little about them and wanna get more reference so that i can make the right decision for my elder daughter (if my girl lucky enough...haha)

KV and SC are very much in different. SC has more emphasis on Languages (particular English) while KV has more focus on Chinese and Mathematics. On the other hand, KV is better preparation for traditional studying path.

It will be available for download in November. The submission dates (in-person) are as usual the first Friday and Saturday morning of December (so I assume it should be Dec. 3 and 4 this year). Interview on January 8th, 2011.

是否讀KV的小朋友較讀SC上小學容易適應, 例如: 功課, 默書.....等, 因KV好似在K2 OR K3已有默書.

Ah, maybe they send green forms to boys and pink form to girls. I also heard they interview boys and girls separately.
You can wake up your girls earlier in the morning & take her to park. Then do the afternoon snap earlier than usual. Then adjust her wake up time accordingly for the interview.

The application form will be ready to dl in Nov, and submission date in early Dec, interview in Jan 8, that means the result will be annouced in late Jan...wow! long time to wait...but still a bit earlier than SPK!

she's good at talking, she loves to repeat our daily conversations, so i'm not worry abt the interview, but the schedule of SC & KV are crashed, so i planned to give up KV...

Hi BabyHilary,
I think it is not a "click" action but pointing the mouse pointer to the menu and there should be sub-menu to open for more options to click. See if it works? I believe IE is the support browser, but I use firefox and it works too.
SH's schedule is pretty much the same every year, so results would be available online in their web-site around 2-3 weeks after the interview (and send by mail too).

I believe it depends on which type of primary schools. If the primary school you target also emphasize on more homeworks and dictation, then KV would be more suitable. However, not all primary schools are like this nowadays!
