2) Test for ENG, MATHS & CHINESE
3) Potunghua (conversation)
4) Story re-telling after listen to a short story
5) Manner also represents a key factor

They like children with quick thinking, quick response with good answers

Heard from friends who took the test last year.
One hour of written test - 9 A4 sheets with Eng, Maths and Chinese

One word to describe - CRAZY !

My girl had attended the interview 2 years ago and told me there were so many student helpers there helping them to write down the answers and calculate the marks. So, the interviewees can do "written test" papers without "writing".

算把啦, 依間學校考既野唔係一般幼稚園生應付到既, 我報埋佢都係想個仔多一個面試經驗, 唔會岩我個仔讀

埋白講, 依間學校壓力又大過人, 中學派位又唔係最勁既一間,我個人就覺得唔太值囉

係, 佢係90%上band 1中學, 但佢既派位唔及KTS & APS好, 但SFA讀書既壓力比KTS & APS都高(唔計課外活動), 讀又讀得深過KTS & APS, 但派位又唔及KTS & APS, 所以我先至覺得唔值囉

而且, 3間學校以校舍同中學選區比較, SFA係最差既

我唔係想貶低SFA, 無可否認, SFA係一間好學校, 我只係想小朋友讀得有壓力之餘應該有相應既回報(派間好中學)囉

考小學，多多少少都講運，隨緣吧啦！

去年我帶小女去呢間考，差唔多遲到，一到達小女已被捉入去排隊，我連叫她加油的机會都冇。
我對小女沒有施加過任何特訓，她考完告訴我考核內容。各樣都有，她要出出入入行去各位老師前答問題，我亦不相信她完全會答。

她可以順利考上，我覺得不會是因全部識，而是態度及表現好，坐得定，對老師反應好，唔似bb等。

我見到排隊的考生中，有些仲好bb，扭計喊唔肯走，或一邊排一邊玩，或週身動。

基本禮貌是考小學必須有的。

Yes. If it is your target school, don't worry too much. My little girl told me she didn't know most of the questions and she remembered she only got 37 marks. But she was given a seat in the first round at that time. I think no matter how hard the papers are, it is a game played by K.3 students only. Just relax and let the school pick your kid and more importantly let your kid feel the atmosphere and choose the school. I think parents should better see the P.1 admission process as a school-kid matching process. 隨緣吧.

我囝囝上年考, 完全冇paper, 不過係有串字, 但係好簡單, 好似 "duck"....
有d常識題, 好似雞係邊度黎... 亞囝答小雞... 應該答雞蛋吧.
最後fail 左. 雖然係咁, 但我個人仍然係覺得依間好校唔錯, 而面試安排都ok 喎 !

上年是沒有written的卷，但有寫名在紙上，再交老師，走去老師個位答題給她比分，答完攞番張紙坐番埋位，等叫名，又再出去答題，如是者來回。冇記錯要成個小時

所以，好考小朋友等待時的耐性，定性，投入等。都唔易捱。普通話英語中英數iq樣樣有啲，答得岩唔岩可能不是決定性，臨場反映，應對困難時技巧，思維等因素才是配對學生關鍵。

學校書單的書和課程絕不輕鬆，所以必須選取學習能力，適應能力，自律能力皆高的小朋友。

深水埗中學綱不差的，男仔上長天，女仔去上智，男女校銘x

想問上年係未都有分 am / pm session？又想問係１個又１個入去房interview or 幾個 applicants 進入一間房（大家見到各人表現）？

不過，１日真係可in 哂所有applicants?

情形好似小學早上在操場集隊，然後排隊一個跟一個咁上一層或兩層樓的課室。之後家長可離開，預定時間再番去接小朋友。所以有人係亞公亞婆或菲傭帶去in

果日最辛苦是學校的接待學生，聴講要朝800番學準備做到500下午。呢間學校可想而知幾tough

Me too...they are more attuned to children's developmental needs...kids are really happy there if they are able to catch up their curriculum

APS cultivate a very competitive atmosphere among parents, it all depends on your own parenting style, and your child's learning style. A child full of motivation, a mom/dad full of energy..and able to tolerate the school culture..then you will be ok...Yet, a lots of them goes to DBS and LS, very attractive to some parents...

My son was being accepted by SFA last year, but finally abandoned this offer. We share with the same feeling with luiluimama.

My son was refused to attend interview due to clashing PC interview. It was a bit disappointed because we rushed to Taxi and it was dizzling today and I got cold. I've been there twice for explanation but no mercy was granted.

Afterall, I was thinking, the top boys in this school will go to Cheung Sha Wan Catholic School due to Shum Shui Po Zone http://www.chsc.hk/secondary/tc/schoollist.asp?District=SSP. And later today I just received an offer from St Louis, which is located in Mid-level. For top boys, there are King's, St Joseph, St Paul's Boy, St Paul Co-ed, Raimondi, St Stephen's Church http://www.chsc.hk/secondary/tc/schoollist.asp?District=CW to choose, together with their affiliated St Louis' School.

And SLS give us a free P1 preparation course from Nov to May preparing P1 education. That's very good.

Why bother to lose an interview?
