Dear Babykingdom moms,

Does anyone know a good one located in Tseung Kwan O area?? I noticed there is one in the La cite center of Hang Hau, but i am very concerned with their high teacher to student ratio of 1: 8. Besides, the center doesn't group the students according to their ages. The receptionist tells me that they will let any kid of any age to sit in the same group as long as that certain time slot is not full. When I ask them whether there is some individual teaching time or interaction with the tutor, they also confirm me that the Enopi encourages self-learning, their "experienced" tutors know when to provide assistance. Sound doesn't good to me

We live at Hang Hau. My boy is now 3.5 and I am going to enroll him in the Enopi Math course at the centre you mentioned.

Plan to enroll or enrolled already?? When i read the thread regarding other Enopi centers, some BK members mention some centers offer 4 to 1 ratio with similar age group. It also allows more interactions with the tutors. With the Hang Hau center, I feel that it runs like a Kumon Center. The attitude of their receptionist is not very friendly when I express concerns of having a large study group of different age with limited interactions for the tutor. She just keeps reminding me to bring my kid for assessment. Don' know whether it is good or not.

我個小朋友係你話個間讀左1年, so far個模式同你講的一樣, 不過可能會視乎你所選的時間, 我之前試過係早上9am (第一個時間), 佢係1:4, 如你選peak hour就一定會1:8...而我而家轉左呢個time slot都係1:6左右, 學習上都無咩問題....將軍澳廣場都有一間, 你可以再問下是否一樣..

Hi, what subject is your kid studying?? So far, what do you think about the centre and tutors?? Are they well organzied and experienced?? Please advise.

推薦計劃, 每人可平300元, i think always like this, that time my daughter also have ,but is the 3rd month, at last no use ( i quit my daughter )

Good or not really depends on how old is your kids, if 8/9 years old, maybe better, but not a young one. I quit because they use cantonese to explain to my girl whom totally don't understand cantonese(this i already told them before i enrolled), she asked the teacher use english and the teacher just ignore her......
u can have a trail lesson and observe.

they told me like this before, but if have 8 kids in class, they will use cantonese......i think u know most of the kids is cantonese speaker there. I know some CWBS students there, but those also understand cantonese, and i asked a G4 students, he also said the tutor does speak cantonese.

the reason i quit is they don't care much, my girl almost 4, i think this age still need more care ( although enopi claim need to do by themself, but i still want some guide)

my girl can solve the problem by herself, but she need other to explain to her first.

It doesn't really matter to me of the teaching medium. But I strongly agree with you that we need to find a teacher who really cares and is willing to provide guidance to young students. For instance, even my girl is 4 and half now, she still can't finish her works without me explaining the questions beforehand.

By the way, mind to let me know which enopi center you are referring??

Four and a half i think still need guidance, maybe u can consult some private Enopi tutor( i mean they teach small group at home), u can search in Enopoi website.
Right now, my girl doesn't join any Enopi, will join in next semester, i concentrate to train her conversation for interview in January

one thing i don't like this centre is since first lesson, i already told them ' no sweeties pls' and each lesson written on the handbook, but still have sweeties, i really don't like

I see. You live in Clear Water Bay?? Mmmm, I just know such school exists, but don't pay much attention on it. Maybe i am too obsessed with the ones located in Kowloon Tong. My little boy is 2 right now and I am very busy to arrange/train his kinder interview. This year, the competition is keener than the year before

Hi~~Your son is only K1, he starts the Enopi already?! So smart~~
I am thinking to have my girl starts somewhere in December depending on her writing skill. My girl is not good in writing, I don't want to spend majority of time in repeating worksheets like Kumon English..

My boy genuinely loves math. He likes to write numbers and words a lot. He often asks questions on math and language. Moreover, he has very good concentration and long attention spans.

The centre lets him start Enopi at level 3.

Don't hurry to start; let your girl do it at her own pace.

Had his first Enopi Math lesson yesterday. 4pm class...well... the group is quite big (1:5). See if I could have my boy nap earlier next time so as to attend the 3 o'clock class where the ratio is only 1:2.

2 basic thinking math and 1 critical thinking math workbooks to complete this week... Frankly, I don't expect much from the teachers there... I put my boy in the centre mainly because I genuinely like the Enopi philosophy and materials (not for sale outside learning centres!) Also, regular meetings with a teacher would provide my boy with a sense of progress and the necessary guidance. My boy enjoys it so far; and I can go through the materials with him / teach him in depth at home.
