Agree. I thought they needed to wear PE uniform bcos it's Tuesday but son insisted on the normal uniform. Perhaps I should trust him more.....

Hi babypopart,

Ended up ur son was correct. My son came home today telling me that they were told last week to wear PE uniform on every Tue and Thur, including today.....

He also told me someone in his class threw a temper tantrum today, and Ms Chan was pretty stern to that boy. Have you heard anything about this?

thanks for ur sharing. my son didn't tell me about the visit to the principal's office. i can imagine how excited the boys must have been. i'm anxious to see how much homework he'll bring home tomorrow. he and i are still in a holiday mood. tomorrow's homework will probably be a wake up call for both of us.

He is sitting on the 4th column and the 4th row.
But he is not sure this is the permanent or temporary seat arrangement.
Is there anyone who can make a contact list for 1A class?

Hi Littlemak,

The seats assigned to the boys yesterday are permanent until the next shuffle.

I don't mind putting together a contact list. Anyone who's interested, please PM me your name, your son's name, phone number and email address. I will wait for a few days to collect all information, then send the list to all by email. Let's hope we can form a support group to share information.

The setting of your Internet Explorer does not support open Chinese named file and folder.

To resolve the problem, please go to the "Internet Options Setting" -> " Advanced" and UNCHECK the option "Always trasnfer URL in UTF8"

That's correct.  There wasn't anything posted on 6/9's handbook by our class teacher.

I don't have your login problem.  I can read both of the Chinese and English versions.

1A English teacher requested all students to stick a name label/ write the name on the top right hand corner of the front of all the books (even there are space for writing name at the back).
She said she had wasted too much time to distribute the books in class as most boys did not do what she requested.

Tks Rita for reminding us! I just put labels for all Eng-related items. I think this helps ms. Lo job and make her easier and faster to deliver those books/ex/workbooks.

For the book report, I guess it depends on what kind of books our kids are using for the report.

For the dictation, as last time they were given almost a week for preparation, and now we did not receive any notice yet. So, maybe no dictation next week.

BTW, do your boys bring home a book called "Write ONE, a handbook for young writers"?

星期四 23/9 (中秋假)。

所以下星期應該中,英都不用默書。

I have asked Miss Lo. She said boys need to hand in one book report on 4 Oct. Boys can choose which form they like to use, not A+B+C for one submission.

She also said that she would not collect more than 8 reports in total for the whole term, anyway, she would let the boys know when should they hand in the second report, and so on.

no needs to print the worksheet, you click the link 小一常識科網上時事小百答(一), and then read the questions and mark down the answers, go back to the previous box right hand corner click (做功課), you through the online program to submit.
