I heard, if the kid has the certificate of trinity or other English proficiency tests, they will be highly accepted..
At least, most of the kids with that kind of certificates were accepted first..I meant they even got calls from school in the next day after interview.

Please don't panic!
My daughter was accepted and she didn't have any certificate ( just the certificate of brushing teeth from her kindergarten, ha!) nor she had attended any extra English lessons outside school. She attended local kindergarten not international kindergarten. Her English is not really good but I did think that she can express herself very clearly and she was not afraid of the interview for we tried to let her know that the interview is kind of fun.
Sometimes, I do think the acceptance to P1 is a matter of luck. Don't put too much pressure on yourself and the kids. Let the kids eat well and rest well so he/she has good condition at the interview.
Good luck!

you are right, somehow it is a kind of luck.
Sometimes the teachers would love certain of students and sometimes the kids were not in the good mood in the interview.. too many factors to influence everything... ><

Actually, St. Margret was only one of the DS I applied. But, it was not the first choice of our preferences.
When nothing happened after the 1st interview, we didn't feel very bad (of course, a bit..a bit upset..my son is not that bad!!...It is normal feeling, right).
About my last message, I only said the kids with certificates really have advantages and will be accepted first. I also knew some friends' kids were accepted without any certificate.
But the truth was that, most of these kids finally gave up the seats. I have few friends, their kids were accepted last year, all of them gave up finally.
Don't be misunderstood my points, St Margret is a good school. Just co-incidently, the friends I know gave up the seats due to their own reasons.
