I have also learnt from my daughter that she ate biscuits at school only.

I may need to call the class teacher about this issue if i learn by my daughter next Monday.

Hi Jeco,

i have asked my girl & she told me that she has the saugage bread along with biscuits by last Friday.

And I have talked with Ms Kwok this afternoon, she told me that they also have the ham & egg bread last Thursday also.

So, the menu of snake should not be biscuit only; otherwise, I will crazy to call & complain... hehe .. just kidding.

per the seminar on end of July, Mrs Fung has mentioned that any communications will be suggested to inform by notice or memo instead of writing onto the handbook.

She is the assistant teacher.

FTI, 2 class teacher - one is Miss Kwok, another one is Miss Frankie (not sure the selling is correct or not) + 1 assistant teacher Miss Lai.

so, the ratio of N! Blue is 3:25 ==> around 1audit taking care 8-9 kids

我個仔都係讀N1Blue, 佢上完一星期堂就同我講中文老師叫 Miss Kwok, 英文老師叫 Miss "Cranky", 普通話老師叫 "林老師"....
後來我問班主任, 原來係叫 Miss Frankie.....Ha...Ha.. Cranky 係Thomas 系列入面既吊臂車, 佢當左老師既名係 Miss Cranky, rather "Frankie"!!
普通話老師真係叫 "林老師"....我個仔發音幾準!
仲有佢成日話無得玩"滑梯"唔係好開心!
班上好似有個同学叫Matthew同我個仔幾Friend

Hi all N1 Blue am parents,

Do you get the memo today that Ms Frankie is going to leave YORK due to personal affair & the new foreigner class teacher named Ms Sapan.

I have asked my daughter that Ms Sapan is BLACK Hair; I tried to ask her if she is Indian like her auntie (our helper-Indonesia) or western like Ms Frankie.

She advised me that Ms Sapan looks like Ms Frankie but BLACK hair..... I am not sure if her meaning is ... they both speak in ENGLISH or not...

Honestly, it's quite shocked for me to hear that the teacher changing. I told my friend about this & she's kidding to me that ms Frankie may join the new campus of LH located at TKO...haha...

I do hope the new foreigner class teacher will be better than expected... because the memo also stated that Ms Ng will assist with this new teacher .... so scare .....

If someone know about this ... please share for my easy idea. Thanks.

I find the teachers are quite okay, they call the parentsl regularly to report the progress of the kids in the class. Since my son is a small b, his speech improved a lot after going to school for some time, and he always enjoys going to school, and would sing the songs he learned from school at home.

Hope you kid enjoy the learning at York la!

PTH in International class is a major subject, they have PTH song classes every Tue & Thur, my son always sings the PTH songs he learned from school at home.

For English, technical stuff like vocab & phonics are well trained, they also have NAT teacher in international classes.

Hi parents, just wanted to share that I went to see the kids going to the Rutland Playground on Tuesday ar, since I was a bit worried that if they go out, how can they manage all the kids ar? However, the teachers really managed the kids, well, very organised, in 3 small groups, around 10 kids each group, taking turns for different activites, and I can see that the kids really enjoyed.

Besides, the outing is educational, apart from playing the slides and some group games and dancing, the teachers also show the kids the plants, trees, grass, leaf and the playground, so it combines with play and learn, really good !!

That's whay they don't stay at their own playground for the PE class loh, now I understand la ekkekeke.

Thanks for the sharing, it's really useful for me as I have asked my daughter about that day.

she did not tell me anyway, I just learnt that she kept to say " N1Blue, please follow here !!" at home.

But I do sure that she enjoyed the out trip & she loves the school much.

I am gratified by my daughter's happiness. ^-^ Yeah !!

Yes ar, my son also enjoys going to school a lot and likes to sing the songs at home as well, sometimes English, sometime Mandarin...so I think the kids really picked up a lot at school ar. ^.^

Do you know the class teacher - Miss Kwok is still teaching / working in York.

I just learnt this from my daughter & she claimed that there is a NEW Chinese teacher in her class.

I asked about the name & she can't answer me.

As I am not sure if it's true or not. Anyone can update me ? Becos, Miss Kwok is a good teacher that I trusted her

Hi Jeco,

I have called the office this morning, and the staff has confirmed that Ms Kwok has been resigned due to personal reason.

At the beginning, the staff told me that Ms Kwok is taking the leave and she was told me the truth under my pressure.

And the staff claimed that there is a memo will be put into the school bag within these 2 days.

I complained the staff how come : -
1./ they did not informed us at the 1st day when the children resume to school

2./why there are total 2 class teachers to be changed within one semester; it is totally affected the children & parents.

3./ why they did not inform us & explained to us when 12/22 parent's day.

And I have asked the staff that I would like to talk with the senior teacher - Ms Ng; unfortunately, she got a leave today ....

Their managing attitude & follow up is totally disappointed me.

well, well, well... i just want to express my yelling as I never expect that i pay a high school fee but the teachers ......

I dont believe that YORK has over 30 years education experience but their bad adminstration follow up make me crazy...

Thanks for sharing the details about this, I also called the school today about this leaving of Miss Kwok but the answer was useless, I really thought of writing a letter to Mrs Fung the Head Mistress to express our concerns, two teachers changed within half semester.....

Actually, my son likes Miss Kwok alot and seems like recently he makes excuses not to go to school...it's really worrying since the teacher Ms So is new to the class, how can she know the kids and assess them??

However, the good thing to learn here is that Ms So is more experienced and have been with York for some years already.

However, I'm really thinking writing a letter to express our concers to the Headmistress, and to request not to have such happening to our class anymore, it's not fair to the kids.....

Any views parents??

I also recognise the change of my little one, especially on the way he holds pencil. At the beginning, it seems that he is afraid to go to school after changing to Ms So, but now he seems enjoying again!!

At the same time, it will not affect our kids as L2 will be managed by another teacher.
Ms so told me that is the strategy of York to arrange tmore experience teachers to manage the higher classes.

Agree ar agree ar!! And the kids were so happy too!! They kept on singing in the bus even there was no more music, cute!!!! The efforts by the teachers are really really appreciated and I'm sure we all had a very joyfull day!!!!!

Yeah, Miss So is a really good and experienced teacher, she knows the kids very well just after a few months with them. Now, Ryan is no longer resistant to go to school anymore compared to right after Miss Kwok left, he even loves going to school now!! Lucky kids to have Miss So as their class teacher ^_^

聽說唔係好多offer; 所以要經校長同老師們推薦& confirm.
