Just brought my daughter to the playgroup for the 1st time after waiting for nearly 1 year...but really really really disappointed!

It's really a waste of time and money!

My daughter is nearly 17mths now, the 2 hrs PG consists of:

1.  30 mins free play inside the classroom by yourself

2.  10 - 15 mins English songs singing and story telling

3.  10 - 15 mins playing play dough (but it's like free play time since the Eng. teacher won't interact with your kid, she just said it's time for playdough, distributing the playdough then she went away! Drinking water, resting!)

4.  15 mins snack time

5.  10 - 15 mins Cantonese songs singing and story telling

6.  10 mins drawing time

7.  15 mins free play again outside the classroom (but it's boring...nothing much to play with indeed and the parents need to take care of their own kids since only 1 teacher is there to watch, watch only! Without interacting with the kids!  My daughter didn't want to play after playing for a while since really nothing much to play with!)

8.  5 mins dismissed time and time to remind parents to pay for the next month.

so does it worth? so much free play time!

Apart from too much free time, are the English and Chinese song singing and story telling parts good??

我B舊年上過佢PG(每周3 days)，乜有30 min free play in classroom咩？另外玩具唔算少，好多小朋友玩得好開心又唔似boring wo，我覺得成個課程都算緊密，唔通今年改左？

only 30 mins (total) for Eng and Chi singing/story, it seems too few.

My kid quitted the playgroup after attended for two months. It's the worst playgroup he had attended so far.

I also applied for Victoria playgroup more than a year ago and is still waiting for a place. May be I need to search for other playgroups when it offers a place to my daughter.

my daughter enjoys the playgroup and always dances along with the song. and at least, she can learn the discipline amongst the other classmates.

My boy enjoys the class as well. Also, he can learn the discipline through the class activities. I think it's not that bad as some ppl said....may be depends on the teacher.

My daughter joined the one at Tai Kko Tsui branch. I also agreed that Victoria playgroup is not good, waste time and money. Cannan playgroup is better. I don't think it's worth to wait for nearly two years. If you would like to have net teacher, may try Tutor Time la

Btw, 我是好滿意舊年由梁主任教既PG，我b在Vic個pg好開心，又有得上台表演又可以去sport day，今年邊個教我就唔知了。

My boy joined the playgroup 2 years ago. Ms. Lui is good but 梁主任 is even better. My boy learnt a lot from 梁主任.

As regards the English part, Ms. Jessica is very good and she played with children. But later they changed the policy. Each class was taught by different net. Some of them were really no good. So we quit even my boy was not 2 years old.
