Ans 2) 我見到不是太多同學用學校書包.

Ans 3) 個人覺得小一沒有需要, 但小二以上, 如果購買, 考試時有小許幫助. 因為有可能考phonic 書內容.

Thanks for your reply. I shall call the school and see whether they allow my girl to wear non-school shoe. She has 外翻腳, need to wear shoe with better support.

Yes, I gave up the place at TSL. Skipping P.5 and P.6 呈分, P.6 interview are more attractive than the possible Band 1 allocation. I am lazy.

nice to meet you. I am wondering how they allocate the groups. When I saw Connie's allocation, I believed students will under the same groups for all 4 subjects for easy administration.
Anyway, Connie and Jocelyn will be in the same Group in Maths then.

I think Mr. Dennehy is vey nice. Besides, there are some non-Chinese speaking pupils in our class so I think they will have more chance to speak English in class.

Ha, the class teacher didn't know there was name on the circulars and mixed them all up.

Are you in G1? We have Talent Class on Tue, PE on Wed and Dance& PE on Fri, so all three days need to wear PE uniform. I shall need to purchase 1 more set for Connie.

Connie's talent class are Martical art, cricket, fencing and table-tennis. . . all sports.

I have to check his timetable again to make sure, we have talent class on Tues too...so they should wear sport uniform start on this coming Tues, right?

Since they will take school photo and go to the church on 8/9 & 10/9 respectively, do remember to wear school uniform instead of sport uniform then (confirmed with Ms. Wong)

she wrote "生字(一)"@ her handbook, and have a green hw exercise book distributed. Inside the exercise book, it has a paper attached showing the format of writing 生字 for each chapter. My problem is my daughter dosen't know what have to write it on. As I saw she has circle some words in Ch. 1 of the Chines book, so I assume they should be the targeted "生字", finally I ask my daughter to write them for her first hw.

I check the intranet this morning and found the list of "生字" on web, the list is same as the circle words.

I think as the beginning, I have to check the intranet from time to time. Also check here for all of your sharing.

I have same experince as u, my son also in group 2 chinese, couldn't find any gp 2 chinese from hw list, posted gp 4, 3 and 1...so i keep track to log in to check when will gp 2 chinese will post...finally get the answer from my son's hw diary..i am kind of worry

My daughter and I are still adapting the new school-life. For her is to adapt to wake up so early in the morning. For me is to update the information from intranet daily.

Do you think that the school bag is very heavy?

For Gp1 Chinese, they need to bring both the Chin. and PTH books & WB. Besides, they need to bring the sport shoes for the PE lesson today. It's really very heavy for her.

Yes, the school bag is super heavy. I think teachers may ask the students to put at leaset the workbook at school. If the school allow wearing sports shoes just for today, it will much better. afterall we only take "big head' photo.

My son's school bag is very very heavy too.

Bringing 2 kinds of chinese books probably because there are 2 chinese lessons.
But I just wondered why they need to bring both phonics 1 & 2.

Darren makes many friends from class? I always ask Hazel about her classmate and she always says a list of name, but most of them are boys. :D :D

These are all no big deal. Connie definitely need to improve her EQ.

Hi sampapa,

I think the number is similar because each table has similar number of boys and girls.

Besides, almost each boy is separated by a girl. I think the teachers want to avoid the boys to play together during the lesson.

Today there are many homework for G.1. Chinese, GS, Math. . . I cannot imagine some primary school ask students to complete 6-8 homework per day. Lucky I to have Connie in SMC

I find my son can speak more fluent English and his accent is good until now. (may be with NET class teacher?)
I enjoy reading more books with him before him goinig to bed. Not so much homework is good for him, I'm luckily to make this choice.

Yes, my son's sport uniform is getting yellow beside the red line. But I use the "turbo cleaner" to remove it. Now it is a lot better.

I always ask Hazel name of her classmate who sitting the same table with her, but she usually only remember the boys' name, "異性相吸"? Anyway, I'll remember Jocelyn and ask ask Hazel tonight.

BTW, I didn't make an order at Ling Kee, but my outstanding book list is same as u, i.e. the Maths book and WB of 1C & 1D are still awaited.

Darren can only tell Hazel and the other boy's name ~ Eric at his table, he always forgot the name of the girl who sit beside him

Anyway, nice meeting u cylokmum! Btw, we miss 1 book only GS Book 4 which out of stock in ling kee...b4, i got many ourstanding books from ling kee, so i search & bought it from other bookstores..

They promise to exchange them for me tomorrow. I was really angry with the staff as they blamed me to wash them by hands instead of machine wash.

Do you know what is curriculum guide? I saw a label on Connie's homework diary, but cannot find it in her school bag.

Also got the scholastic book club leaflet. I think see saw level is relative easy and suits better for K2-K3. What do you think? I wonder if we can order higher level readers. besides, the price is not attractive. I used to buy step into reading at 100 for 4. but it costs 33 per copy her.
