Most people think IQ test only relates to IQ, but actually there is more.  My girl does not have any focus or AHDH problem.  She used to be the most noisy, active and social one in the group, but she becomes very passive and quiet to a level that worry me.  So we met up with a CP, and discuss my concerns.  He suggested us to take the IQ test after a detailed questionnaire and discussion....so we did.

The result provides us a different angle to look into the issue.  It provide us some hints of the changes.  I also suggest my friend to take the test because her daughter has some behaviour problem.  We may understand our daughter some, but I don't have the guts to say I understand her all.  We both think the result are accurate, and it explains.  So to us, it is not the mark, but the whole profolio.  Not because of 虛榮, just because we want to understand more.
I did not submit the result to "enrich" her profolio, and actually there are not much support and course for gifted children.

I do agree some organization is very commercial, so you may need to choose carefully.  The format is changed for the new version, so it is not really apple to apple.

Totally agree to your opinion, but i think that is not easy to be " A caring parent will have already known their kid (i.e. the characteristics, temperance, strengths and weaknesses, etc.)"

We do not notice that we don't know the thing which we don't know.

升小一後有行為問題, 睇精神科同心理學家, 排除咗adhd同情緒問題, 佢哋話剩低嘅可能就係資優. 走投無路下惟有做. 10月30日做.
