I think it's common in band 1 school. My daughter told me b/4 that girls are 1 roll or 1.5 roll (forgot) more than boys during the scholaship & allocation test in March. As it's taken in the hall, so she can recognized the difference. It seems not big diff. in our school.

Boys are much less. In the registration, 2 rooms were reserved for girls but 1 room for boys only.

Since we live close to City one, he goes by bus 88R, then stop at admirty & change the bus 12A, it takes around 1 hour travel. We have travelled with him several times, he said he was ok to travel alone. We give him some cash & a mobile, ask him to call me when he arrives school. He always forgets to report safe, let's see whether he will do it today so that I have a peaceful mind!

Since I known there are several kids living in Shatin in BK, is it possible to travel in a taxi together?

Your route is ok, so did yr boy report safe to u today? However, as we need to take a shuttle to city one, so we prefer to take shuttle / MTR + 12A. It goes quite smooth today. My daughter said that there's a boy lives in Tai Wai in her eng class, he also goes by himself today. He takes 12A + MTR. But she found most of her classmates are live in HK island.

I think it's not easy to gather those kids who're living in shatin in bk to take a taxi, let's see the response of the others then. Later on, grandma will help us to pick up my girl to school until she gets used to it. You're right, they've to learn to be independent.

we live near Shek Mun, decided to take the nany bus, at least for the first few months.

1st day many students wore uniforms. Today a little bit less as per my daughter. Most of them who wear uniforms are come from SPCCPS, and some of them wear SPCC's P.E. uniforms.

Really? Yes, he is in Group B, I don't know what he put on but yes he likes to wear sportswear a lot, I asked him to dress better, but he said he needed to maintain his sportive image. So I guess they are in the same group then, pls check PM.

As I mentioned before, he travelled by himself these few days. He managed to report safe on his first trip to school but forgot thereafter.....girls will be much better in this aspect I think. This is the 3rd day, I hope he will remember to call me this morning, let see.

Yes, I think girls are more willing to report safe. My girl will call me when she is right on the bus and arrives at any destinations. I've trained her up since she was in P.6. Now, she can manage to go to school by herself today. Besides, she is even enjoy her classes in SPCC. She did meet some girls and exchange the tel. It's so great!

真係差唔多,佢印象最深係有個係國際學校升上黎既,佢話個男仔唔單止英文掂,普通話都好得.

其實我就係 buy 佢普教中, 希望3年后女女的pth 能應付自如. Be honest, 環顧"正苦"的 top school, 有幾多間可以全級實行普教中! 當然要學好一種語言, 就要加倍努力了.

We live in Shatin, glad that just confirm a nanny bus (van) & paid, (you may join single or round trip, all passengers are SPCC students). Route from Taipo, Shatin & Hunghom, still have a few seats available. you may pm me for info..

上年為例，是以入學獎學金考試(學校辦)和中一入學測驗(政府辦)去分配A-G七班，再分中英數九組,A-C班按中英數能力不同分1-4組上中英數堂，D-G班亦按中英數能力不同分5-9組上中英數，中英數1,5組為精英組,第9組能力較弱,人數亦較小，老師可兼故多一些，部份第9組要一星期上多一課補底！開課後會有通知!原則上同一班同學(A-G)只會一同上科學，中史，地理，歷史，通識等，上中英數的因分組不同故同學和課室會不一樣！F.1-F.3直升上同一班，但每年因為中英數考試績不同而再分組！每年中英數考試不合格要補考，補考合格才可以升班！每年都有十個八個需要補考！
上年F.1D班成績最好(老師透露),查F.1獎學金得者(成績前16%)A班９個，D班8個,C,E班各七個，B班1個，Ｆ班２個，G班１個,好難分那班是精英班，只分得出女生拿獎學金比男生多一倍,到高中就相反！

My kid's primary classmate also allocated in the same class in F.1, is this a usual practise for students (non St Paul's primary school student) allocated in the same class or just a coincident for my kid's case?

Do you have any ideas when will the extra-curricular activities start & how is the enrolment? e.g. language course, sports team, debate team, christian fellowship etc.

Is there any complusory activities that the kid needs to join after school? I heard from others that each kid must learn 1 musical instrument & 1 sports, not sure my info is correct or not. Thanks for your sharing in advance.

課外活動隨你參加，也可以甚麼都不參加，但學期結束會有一份活動記錄隨成績表派發，記下了一年內參加過的活動，包括校內規定的和自己參加過的，如比賽有獎項也會列明！
一項音樂(鋼琴也算)，一項運動,可以參加學校舉辦的，也可以參加校外的，定期提交証明就可以了！

只是英文第9組才是能力較弱，中數第9組跟2,3,4,6,7,8是一樣的。
