The SSPA results have been released. The boys seem to be doing quite well - 6X La Salle, 2X Queen's, 11X Kln WY, etc.

其實對上一年的實際school allocation比校網上的數字更好, 因叩門有很多成功例子
但傳統只update至7月10日左右(應已包括首天立即叩門成功的數字), 並不continuously update 至開學時的情
不知學校今年會否continuously update 呢 ?

Bluestar,

This is correct.

In the past few years, I noticed that the school did update 1-2 more times after the
official announcement day, but only upto middle or end of July.

Usually, there will be some more successful "knock-door" cases till the end of August.
In case the graduates will report such cases to the school or the school can manage to get such information later on, it will be a good idea to make some more updates till the end of August.

Only a handful of graduates were admitted to DGS and DBS in the past few years.
The competition seems to become keener and keener these days.

However, 2 boys have been admitted to Queen’s this year which did not happen for quite some time.

因為有些学生已知有名津校收而無揀DBS, DBS学費唔平, 不如留番d$$用嚟補習或參加其他活动。

If my son is so smart, DBS is not my cup of tea.
BTW, any reason for the past years, seems the result of the boys is better than the girls??
(luckily my kid is boy)

In some years, boys’ overall performance could be better.
But it could be the case for girls in some other years.
Sometimes, their performance could be more or less the same.
In the past academic year, boys’ overall performance was “slightly better”.

However, boys’ and girls’ overall performance might vary slightly year by year due to various factors.

I find the TSL girls did very well too!!!

Dear all,

Just noticed that there was another new update on the SSPA results on July 19.

1 more girl has been admitted to Heep Yunn.
1 more boy has been admitted to Kowloon Wah Yan to bring the total of 12, and so on.
