Dear All,
Did any one know that when will DPS call the interview? Is it on the early July ?

No, will not be so early. Last year, we submitted the portfolio after luckdraw in Jun, but we received the call for interview in early Sep. I think somebody withdraws their seat after school started. My son has actually started P.1 in another private school.

The school has called 7-8 applicants for interview on same day. My son said the interview was conducted in both English and Mandarin. The principal may select only 1 or 2 kids. Anyway, my son was not selected last year.

My son do not speak Mandarin at all, then does it mean he has no chance?

I only received a letter saying that they will shortlist and call the applicants for interview in early Sept. That means we have little chance then.

i also received the call fm school invite my daughter for interview in next week. Any parents can share this experience for us?

Nope. I think they interview the outstanding one first and also there's limited vacancies.

How's the interview? Good luck to you and your kid as it's uneasy to have the opportunity.

I donot know since my son is unable to tell me, but there were many CCKG students so I think they might have priorities over those non CCKG kids, my son is not CCKG so ...anyway, I will continue to pray about it.

It is in God grace if he will be accepted. They invited 2x students for interview, but do not know how many seats there are for offer tho!!

The competition is definitely very keen.

As i know that, there will not have 2nd in. What we can do is waiting for thr phone call. My kid also have the interview today and we are not the CCKG student. I saw there are 18 kids on the first page of the interview list, and did they tell you only have 20 more kids ?

do you know the 18 students is for all inivted students or just only for 1 days ? because i will go to interview on this Thurday.

well thursday too, I thought they only interview on tuesday and wednesday because I only saw two days.

Only for today 18 students, there will be about 8 more the next day, but donot know about Thursday.

How many seats do they actually have? I can't believe it they interview so many just for few seats.

It is not fair to give so many false hopes!

already received the call this afternoon, register on Monday.

Inteview in Mandarin (just 1-2 short question) & English + English reading.

My kids said it just a casual talk not really question, like where u live, who live with u, something about the house. they talk for over 15 mins. Think they just want to see if the kid is able to communicat in English.

Sorry, I was busy to buy books, uniform, shoes and looked for school bus for my daughter, so I just have a time to on line. How is your situation ?
