有幼兒教育家教我們以此為指標. 我很想知道在英華的情況. 小息時有地方讓他們跑跑跳跳嗎?

why quite unexpected. I guess all the local school will not allow running during recess time

The recess is 15 mins only.  Children are expected to go to toilet, drink water or eat some snacks during the recess.

School does not allow children to run during the recess is for safety reasons as usaully students of lower grade are allowed to stay on the floor of their classrooms only.  150 students on the same floor.  If children run, accidents may happen easily.

However,  they are allowed to play some sports, eg. table tennis when they finish their lunch.  More time for them to play at that time.

Interesting subject....I forgot where I heard this (from my child? from forum? from principle?...really forgot), whenever there is child running in the corridor (ie. any time) and caugth by Ms Lam, she will ask "Is this the right place to run?"...the answer is definitely NO.

Follow this logic...the child are allow to run on open playground.....but whether they are allow to go to playground during recess time or not is anothe question.

很多学校都不会让学生跑的，为方便管理。。
