I would like to know is all (100%) primary section can straightly go to secondary section ? r they accepted all the students from primary ? because my friend isan old girls at st paul convent, she told me 2 classess in secondary section will be selected from outsider. but when i searched the forum, they said mainly (of course sometimes not 100%) students from primary can straightly go to secondary
please advise

你六年級考試主科合格就可以升上中學，你唔可格可以留班。

You just need to get pass in Chinese, English & Math then you will be eligible to go to the secondary school.

Thanks for your info. Do you know why the 3 girls need to attend 2nd interview? Is it because of poor academic results or didn't perform well during 1st interview or poor conduct?

My girl said for those who require to take 2nd interview will most likely be put in waiting list. Is that true?

2nd interview 可以講是 waiting list,因為after 1st interview 不用 2nd interview 的學生星期六已經註冊咗。

I think these practices vary from time to time. My girl is now in S1 and she is one of the outsiders. Most of the outsiders were allocated in 1T which 9 of 38 are from SPCSPS. The elite class is 1P which also consists a few outperformed outsiders. Class A is mixed with students of non-Chinese and strong english Chinese.

Only one class is from outsiders and allocates 4 or 5 students to other classes. S, T, P, A, U & L. Usually the elite class is S & T.

My girl registers for SPC Sec Section. Her class has 3 student ...

Yr girl must be very smart to get into SPCS. Can you share more about the school life in secondary session? I've heard that the academic standard is very high, especially Eng. They will also rank the student in the school report, is it rank by class or by form?

Thanks, I think my girl's primary academic results were barely good enough to get her an entrance ticket coz she has never made it to the top range. Yes, the competition is indeed very keen. Half of her class were primary students ranked top 3 in class whilst a few of them were top 3's across the grade! My girl always says that the english standards of the SPCSPS students in her class are really high!

We had our first exam before Xmas holiday so have already received the school reports in January. For S1 we have class rankings and one ranking only i.e. no separate rankings for each subjects. However, you can get the average score of each subjects from your class teacher. My girl told me that the practice will be different from S2.

And 1P has the highest average amongst the 6 classes!

No switch of classes in S2 thus e.g. 1P will be promoted to 2P.

Which grade is your girl now?
